Seems the thing to do is say hello. HELLO! My profile says it all.
A compound fracture of my left leg has left me housebound and, according to my wife (Liz), a pain in the Ar**. She's pleased I've found something to do! Love the games and the crosswords.
Before leaving Norwich for sunnier climes, I was an ardent quiz player and a crossword compiler.

I've looked and seen that I cannot compile a crossword for FunTrivia without writing a quiz first.
Any exceptions? Writing quizzes is not my idea of fun but I love compiling crosswords.

Thanks for the welcome Hpotter5075 :-)

I do have a problem logging in. When I tick the "remember me each visit" box, my username and password are not recognised.
Anyone else have this happen?

No. You need to be logged on the main site for the quizzes etc, then here for the forums but you ought to be remembered in each place afterwards unless you log out.

Welcome anyway.

Hello Sue, I'm still having a problem but like the wife said "you'll work it out eventually!"
Thank you kindly for your welcome.
I'm seriously in the dog house for breaking my leg just before the summer and therefore being useless, and yes it was my fault.
I mentioned compiling crosswords in my first post.
Any exceptions made?
Regards
Robin

Hello Robin,
Nice to have you here. In my department at work I actually have a couple of ladies who came from France. Nice to have you here. Have fun and enjoy.

Hello all,
Thank you kindly.
If your couple of ladies like trivia, I've just created a new team called "les escargots" for anyone French or Expats.
Once again been told by the wife that I should have used capital letters.
"Les Escargots".
I'm on strong pain relief for the leg. You'd think she would give me a break

You're not any relation to THE Miss Marple?
My wife has been reading Agatha Christie for years and, being confined to the house, borrowed a couple of books.
The humour is great. Miss Marple is wonderful.
Can't believe I've taken so long to get into her (A.C) books.
Time to put the leg to bed!

No relation to "The Miss Marple" (far as I know! ) but being a Christie fan, the name fitted!

Welcome! And I want to know what you did to break your leg since you said it was your fault, AND, since you're in the dog house.

Sorry claraSue, it's on the games and quiz side of the site. Didn't realise I had to add it to the forums.
