Once upon a time I had one of the top four quizzes on the entire site. The only thing is there were only four quizzes in Quizzyland at the time. I won't tell you the title of the quiz, because I don't want Sue to get mad at me!

Btw it is now ranked somewhere in the 41,000's. It's been played a few times though.

Sorry, I'm afraid my compassion got me a little off topic :P

Oh yes, I have - it wasn't meant to publicize, it just got... well, out of hand when what I said got taken extremely literally. Oh well - it didn't hurt no one. Let us move on.

For the compassionate people who want to help older quizzes get rated - there are lots of quizzes in the same situation in the Forgotten Gems section of the site.

I did just check this link out but I'm a bit confused now.

It says that they need playing and rating to get ranked but there's quizzes over there with sunglasses!

You have to have top rankings to get sunglasses.

I posted a topic on this the other day and it got deleted. I never did find out why.

It has been mentioned before here somewhere, but I can't find the thread.. there are some gremlins that get into the Forgotten Gems from time to time and new or ranked quizzes slip in, but most of them are "forgotten" - I have a look every so often and have found some great quizzes on there that I'd never have come across otherwise.
I've also seen some of my more obscure ones on there and been cheered up by the thought that they might be seen by more players than would otherwise be the case. It's like a "lucky dip" you never know what you'll find

Thanks for posting the link to the Forgotten Gems list! What an eclectic bunch of quizzes. Much more interesting than the "Suggest Quizzes I Like" page.

How do you even navigate to the Gems page? I don't think I've ever seen a link for it on FT...

There are a couple of way I know of how to get to it.

1. From the forums, if you click on Quizzyand at the top or bottom, it takes you to like a Quizzes homepage, and at the top of that page Forgotten Gems is one of the links.

2. Selection "Ongoing - Quizzes" from the Games drop-down menu will you take you to the same page as above.

Click on Quizzyland at the bottom of the forums page. The page that comes up has a link to Forgotten Gems. I don't know how to get there without coming to the forums first.

On the banner that appears at the top of almost every FT page, the second tab ("Quizzes") will take you to The Quiz Directory. From there, you can see lists of the Forgotten Gems, Popular, Editor's Choice, etc.
