It looks a bit like a dragon to me, though perhaps more like a big lizard of some sort. I like it.

It took me several attempts just now to catch Katt in a typical pose, trying to open the back door with his paw so he can join Winston in the back yard. He can manage it, too, if I fail to shut the door tightly enough!

Yes, I see the dragon, Argus! Very neat.

Picqero, I love the incredible brickwork on that chimney. What patience to make something so intricate. Beautiful.

We visited Disneyland this past Saturday, and took a photo of a miniature Cinderella's castle.

spanishliz our cat opens my husbands cupboard and sleeps inside it to get away from the dogs when she wants to be left alone. Amazing how they learn things.

Lovely photos everyone.

Door Arrested Film at 11.

This door Broke in a building where there are Sherrifs so in order to keep people from entering this way they handcuffed it.

You could say this is a OPEN & SHUT Case. LOL LOL

I took this photo last night at dusk.Looking over the river Ayr from North Harbour St to South Harbour St.The pic looks different when viewed from different heights. It's as though the contrast changes. What am I doing wrong?Still learning.

Can be seen better on a larger pic.Was I too far back?

A good photo indeed Sue! You could overlay it with a canvas effect. I think that would look good. Perhaps show the results in the 'Photography course' thread.

Thanks for the larger image link Sue.
My wife had a helicopter flight lesson today; a birthday present from our boys.
It was a small helicopter, a Robinson, versatile and great manoeverability and vision.
This is her with the instructor,

and this is them taking off and about to disappear into the distance

DD, don't worry at all, it is under-exposed but that is very good. It is much better to be under-exposed than over. I have lifted it for you and you can see it here.

This is a birdie eating peanuts.

Gee Picqero, that helicopter sure seemed to be flying low, probably just the angle it was taken at.

This is a new bridge built in Winnipeg to span the Red River between downtown and St. Boniface a suburb. There has been a debate between those that love the look of the spire and those who think it looks like the bridge is giving everyone the finger. I like the look of the bridge myself.

What you can actually see is a pedestrian bridge and the building on it is a restaurant. The vehicle bridge is behind it.

It was flying low, along the main runway in fact. Helicopters often have to take off on the same trajectory as normal aircraft so have to use the same runways, heights, etc.
After take off they disappeared into the 'wilds of Hertfordshire', and we didn't see them till they landed about an hour later. My wife took the controls during the flight, and even a practice landing!

Here is the heron I see every morning, he is very difficult to photograph, as the slightest sound and he is gone.

Nice catch, Ren! He looks pensive.

This is one of the photos I took the other day when trying to get something for the bridges theme. I'm standing on one bridge, and there are in fact two off in the distance, very close together, though it looks like just one. There really are quite a lot of bridges in this town!

Havn't had the camera out this week so I picked a photo from our holiday in Arrowtown last summer.
This is a track down by the Arrow River where we go walking a lot. It is also where they shot scenes for Lord of the Rings. I think it is where Arwen was riding with Frodo in the Fellowship of the Ring.
Any Lord of the Ring fans here?

Here, here! That is very neat, peggy! Do you have any other pictures of The Lord of the Rings movie settings?

This is the head of the under 15 boys race, where I was today. Crathes Castle (near Aberdeen) can be seen behind the rhododendron bushes.

Hey, Peggy, that's a great photo - love those movies.

Here's another photo of my hummingbird feeder. This time I managed to get a shot of the male Anna's Hummingbird. He's the only one with a fully red head in North America.

Amazing photo djsgal!

My sister's neighbours have put lights on one of the trees in their back yard, and I took this pic of it, with the moon above, at about 6 o'clock this evening.
