The paddles look like they're hitting the water with a lot of force; is it a water bicycle?

Wow -- close, but no cigar. That is so interesting. I never gave fish a thought -- what kind of fish to they farm? The only kind I've seen are in long concrete runs where the fish are packed in like sardines. so to speak....

Sort of looks like fur, or furry fabric, or (just thinking out loud here) maybe a paw.... but what could that white thing in the middle be? Hmmm, it looks like metal around the end of it. Still thinking Ren!

I do hope that whatever it is I'm not expected to eat it! It reminds me of when I ate Chinese Steamboat when I lived in Singapore and something white, flabby, and hairy swirled around in the pot. "What's that?" I asked. "Pigskin" came the reply.

So my guess is... a sporran.

I'm with Pdaz -- definitely a jukebox -- maybe the small kind that sits right on the table. ('course I could be wrong....)

I'd have spoken up sooner, but the guidelines for "What is it?" say to give it 24 hours...

PDAZ , ignore the out-of-order sign -- YOU get to play the tunes of your choice!
Then Jar gets to pick a few songs... the pages showing have selections ranging from Dolly Parton to Bon Jovi to Glenn Miller. This was at Wolfe's Diner in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, and yes, each booth had a tabletop model but none were working.

Isn't it interesting that there is no letter I or O. I suppose so as not to be confusing with the numbers 1 and 0. I can never resist playing one of those when I see one at an old restaurant. On the other hand, I've been in some newer restaurants trying to look old and they have newer machines made to look like this. Ahh, memories.

Ahh, memories is right . This particular model, I believe, was made in 1955/56. Too bad it was out of order.
