Here's another part of Bossier City, LA that was nice to see. This little bridge and pond is the entrance to the boardwalk shopping area at the river.

Here's a little entrance to a house in Temple Fortune surrounded by plants.

An awful thing happened. My landlord came back from NZ and was admiring the garden from the gate. I was showing off the orchid and tried to bend it round for him to see, and it snapped off. So we now have a rather exotic vase arrangement!

Here's the Big Picture.

These lilacs are by my front door. I can also see them when sitting on my couch in my living room

Professor, you need to look at the guidelines for posting photos in this forum HERE
the picture is too big.

Could you also confirm that you took that photo yourself?

Foliage of one of the large Leyladii trees in my garden. I liked the way some of the leaves were catching the sunlight, while others stayed in shade.

Excellent photos, all. Mine isn't super exciting, but it is interesting, if you enjoy botany.

This is called winterfat - it's a desert plant that is good forage for deer and cattle, thus the name. The white bits are very soft and fluffy.

I'm still posting photos from Bossier City, Louisiana. This is the trolley at the boardwalk. I thought I'd do some experimenting and take the photo in black and white to give an "older" feel to it. The color version just doesn't feel the same.

As I regularly do my mum's garden I took the chance to get some photos of it today as well.

Great photos everybody! I like the black and white trolley a lot.

I have been looking for a four-wheeled shopping cart for years, and a few days ago my sister spotted some in a local store. One of the things we did when we were out on a shopping spree today was get me one! I spent a short time this evening completing the "easy assembly"

Hmmmmm, yes, Liz? The hammer looks a bit of a drastic measure!

Maybe the hammer is for anyone who decides to butt in front of her while in line at the store.

Believe it or not, the "Tools Required" section of the instructions states "Hammer", and nothing else. (In fact it says it in both English and French, but that's another story...)

Here is a view of the whole garden which I think is quite an impressive one.

While cycling this morning, we passed a herd of English Longhorn cattle. These are an ancient breed, and genetically very important.
They are big animals, but quite docile; this by the way is a cow

The coloring of her is pretty unique, I think. It has so many blends and hues and the tuft of hair coming to the litle 'divit' in the center of the forehead is different! I think she is beautiful.

If you hadn't said so first, Sandy, then I would have. She's much prettier than the brown and white herefords I'm used to seeing.

This colourful creature could be named Rose, or Ella. It is a Crimson Rosella, and quite friendly, too.
