This is my Girl Guide Brownie Pixie badge/brooch. It is about 50 years old and has stayed in the bottom of my jewellery box all this time.

Somewhere I have the sleeve (cut off!) from my uniform with an array of badges, including 'sixer' - the one in charge of pixies! I will see if I can find it....

I like that Lily. It is really nice and it doesn't look like it is 50 years old, it really doesn't. I'd keep that always, if I were you and I know you will too.

Scotty.

I kept a few of the shoulder flashes from my work shirts after I retired. I take them with me as I travel to give away.

I used to have one just like that Lily. Brought back a few memories there.

I took this picture last weekend at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Sydney. The flags spell "Australian National Maritime Museum" (see here if you want to decipher it for yourself), from top to bottom from left to right.

I am loving the photos so far!

These are my husband's Air Force medals (sorta like badges) that he wears on his mess dress, which is like a tuxedo for formal occasions.

These are the flags (from left to right) of the city of Dallas, state of Texas, and city of University Park. I was southbound on US 75's service road at Lovers Ln. The two city flags are positioned the way they are because the east side of US 75 is in the city of Dallas, and the west side in University Park.

Picqero, would you happen to know why they're in Leicester Square? Is there something Swiss nearby? Just curious.

As Sue says, there is a well known building called the Swiss Centre in Leicester Square. Until recently this was the HQ of the Swiss National tourist Office, and also of the national airline Swissair. Swiss themed restaurants, and even an elaborate Swiss Glockenspiel are features of Leicester Square
There's more info on the coats of arms here - though I'm not sure why they show 29 coats of arms

Here are the flags of all the Canadian provinces and territories, outside the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa. Photo was taken when I was in Ottawa last year.

These flags fly over my parents house in Colorado. The United States flag and the POW/MIA flag.

These are my SCUBA diving badges. The NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors) badge is the association with which I qualified. The large round one is my Skin Diving Instructor badge and the smaller ones are pins. One is to commemorate NAUI's 35 years of service and one is the National Sea Rescue helicopter.
