'Before and after'' is a suggestion by deadlydalton. Examples are: Any type of project about to be tackled. Like house decorating, garden, or building work. Post one photo and link to another maybe. With the 640 pixel picture size, perhaps two 320 pixel 'before and after' photos could be stitch together to form a single image.

These photos are from June 2002 when we were living in Florida. My backyard was horrible; all the grass had died, so some great volunteers and friends came over and installed some new sod for me that day. Some of you may recognize my dog Ellie in the blue collar in the top photo. Our other dog Tess has since passed.

TW - I'm not good at "stitching" photos, so I hope 2 smaller ones are ok!

To deviate from the general rule of one image per post would seem sensible for a 'before and after' theme. Two small photos are OK ...always bowing to the opinion of our wonderful Admin of course.

I have been cleaning copper/brass today. If I am being honest this is probably the first time it has been cleaned since I moved to this house! How long did you ask? Nineteen years.

Wow, what a difference, Sue! I have a very large copper tub that I can see I'm going to have to polish very soon now.

I've shown a bit of this sequence in the Photo a Day thread, but wanted to post something for the theme. My attempts to stitch didn't work out, so using two small photos...

This is "before", though possibly "during" would be a better word, taken on the 5th of this month:

"After" was taken on the 24th:

This is day one of vacation. As you can see long hair does not work well at the beach.

This is after beach braids. The braids help keep the hair out of Liz's eyes, but not the sun.
