My "doer upper" found hiding in the grass at Orford, Suffolk.

Some lovely shells I found on the beach in Luderitz, Namibia in May 2007.

I showed my major recent free 'find' - a tall bookshelf - just recently in the Books Theme thread, so I wanted something different this week.

Just days after reading about using 5x8 card files for organizing my photos, I found this file drawer in an office supply place downtown. Despite the tag, I only paid $15 for it, a great 'find' considering the price of new, purpose-made photo organizing file drawers!

Liz, congratulations on your find. I have one of these file drawers for my photos too, except mine is beige! I got mine for free when my boss decided to switch from keeping medical records on 5x8 cards to using large file folders. They are great, aren't they?!

When I was out walking my dog last spring, we took a new trail through the bush and found an area that we never knew existed - it was thick with the most beautiful wildflowers. This is one of them - the red and green kangaroo paw. It is the floral emblem of Western Australia.
