Very nice, DG. I have one for your collection. It's a Far Side mug with Santa's reindeer smashed on the front of a 747 :-)

I got a new camera for Christmas! I'm still learning all the features, but this was a shot I took today that I liked particularly - using the "color select" mode, you can choose just one color to photograph and the rest is in B&W.

I like the idea of groupings of small trees instead of one big one - very pretty effect!

I'm having so much fun with my new camera. One of the awesome features is 20x zoom. Here's a 2 inch ornament from about 10 feet away. A little fuzzy as I'm still learning the ropes.

Deerfield housing area in Plano puts on quite a light show. Here is only one of many houses that are fully decorated.

The oldest and most beautiful Hotel in Hong Kong is of course The Penninsula.
Its famous lobby is always decorated very subtly for the season.
This is the view from the musicians' gallery when I sneaked up for a peep. It is a wonderful experience to have afternoon tea down there and listen to the music.

Well, we've had this theme for a while now, so time for a new one. Thanks everybody. 'Reflections' is this week's theme.
