Love the winery shot, MG.

Here is an action shot from the rodeo the other day .. don't think anyone is recognisable.

Wow - animals that look like plants!

Here's a couple of really big apartment buildings near Lincoln Center on the West Side of Manhattan.

If you want to live in the sky.... The shorter buildings in the front are more typical of this part of Hell's Kitchen.

This house, in a nearby village, has very unusual windows.

She really was a sweetie and very affectionate for a street cat.... at least she didnt try to sell me a rug or a camel

Wish I could have brought some of them (street cats) home, but on the whole they were in good health...

I think those windows are Victorian gothic Picqero, but don't often see that variety in a single building.

This is a typical view in the life of satguru, the main road in South Harrow. There's a very good indoor market by the bridge but a lot of the better stalls and shops are long gone.

Thanks, Copago. The quilt is 30"x34". It is hand appliqued and machine quilted. The tedious part was sewing seed beads around all the petals.

That quilt is a work of art - must have taken ages to create!

Mum and the kids, twins in fact. I've no idea what the breed is, but believe they may be an ancient hardy breed.

bhs - is that the result of one your photographs you were going to convert into needlework? If so, bravo! And if not, it is still very beautiful.

The lambs are sooooo cute!

You are right, Tredici -- the pattern for that flower is from a photograph. I used photoshop to just get the edges, then took it down to the copy shop where they blew it up. I used the enlargement for my pattern.

One of the funniest things I ever saw was a Canada Goose trying desperately to get off a small island within a lake - only every time he tried to put one foot in the water, a swan went into hissing "I'm going to kill you" mode and wouldn't let him. Eventually he made it to the main lake shore but with the swan in hot pursuit. So I think this goose is saying:

"Any swans about?"
