Got a favourite view from a window at home? Maybe work? Or even the car .. any window. Take a snap and show us all.

Out the shattered window. I won't get into details but we were at a friends beach house in Rocky Point, Mexico for a bachelor party. Enough said.

Fabulous picture qqx!!
Mine's not nearly so exotic. Just icicles hanging from the eaves about 3 months ago. The window itself is 6 feet tall, so they're fairly dangerous lol

What a great theme. Already an interesting variety of pictures. pyonir, I'd pay money to hear the story of that broken window, dude.

Fantastic pictures all! such a great variety. One thing I noticed from last weeks theme is that I'm going to enjoy the different views from around the world, not just the US (where I live of course).

deputygary, I'll just say it involved a half a stick of dynamite, a coffee cup, and my buddy not having a whole lot of sense.

The view out to my backyard. I've always liked the look of diamond pane windows, but they're hard to get out west here. So when I replaced my family room windows, I had burglar guards made in that design and from inside and out, it almost looks like they're part of the window. The salesman who came to give me the estimate said that he liked it when people decorated their houses to please themselves rather than to keep their houses in sellable condition. I took that to mean that no one in their right mind would want these!

But I like them, and they fit the cottage look of my house.

Neat pictures! I like this theme, too!

This is out the window of a favorite restaurant in Mystic, Connecticut overlooking the Mystic River in April.

Great photos each and every one!

Where did the week go? I meant to shoot out of my window this week, but totally forgot, and here it is Sunday night.

A shot taken from the window of my last house up on the mountain, overlooking Orosi. It was the smallest house you ever saw, but with a million dollar view. Daybreak, looking north, and the cloudbank rolling in low, partially obscuring the Irazu volcano.

Oh ClaraSue I love Mystic and would love one of those houses along the river. Thanks for posting the picture.

You're welcome, lady1. Mystic is one of my favorite little towns to visit! I'd love to live there if it wasn't for the cold winters.

Looking out to the courtyard, through one of the iron grilled windows of the Khan's Palace at Bakhchisaray in Ukraine.

I'm loving this week's theme. It's given me a reason to take this shot of the view from my living room window - you can make out part of the Singapore city skyline in the distance, and the green belt next to my apartment building. Unfortunately, the land next to me is scheduled to become low-rise offices shortly, so this picture will probably look quite different this time next year!

"Where did the week go? I meant to shoot out of my window this week, but totally forgot, and here it is Sunday night."

No wonder the week seemed to have passed fast, it was only Tuesday! I'd been working day and night to get something finished for month end, so I suppose late at night and tired, I momentarily thought it was weekend. Hey, I'm not MadMags for nothing

The good news is, there's more photos! It's fantastic to see so many different parts of the world, I'm just loving it!

I think this one qualifies for this week's theme - "out the window"... of Sue's car [somehow I still can't believe I was actually there ]

I noticed that, but didn't want to say anything to offend as we really don't know each other.

Awesome picture by the way.

It's pretty hard to offend us mad people.

Thanks for the compliment, I often got up early when I lived there, as the sunrises were just spectacular! Well worth getting up at 4.30 for. I live in the valley now, so can't see them anymore. :/

This is the view of Fort Ross Cove taken through the window of the south-east blockhouse of the fort. I took this when we visited California last year. Fort Ross is an old Russian fort dating back to 1812. It is located just north of Bodega Bay.

Picture of Klipspringers (Oreotragus oreotragus) taken from the car window.

They reach approximately 58 cm (22 inches) at the shoulder, Klipspringers are relatively small animals compared to some of their larger antelope cousins. Only the males have horns that are usually about 1015 cm (46 inches) long. They stand on the tips of their hooves.

With a thick and dense speckled "salt and pepper" patterned coat of an almost olive shade, Klipspringers blend in well with the rock outcrops on which they can usually be found.

Klipspringers are herbivores, eating rock plants. They never need to drink, since the succulents they subsist on provide them with enough water to survive. Wikipedea
