Blue? Do I see blue? Well ... I reckon I'll work it in . Back when I was in high school, the teachers (as I remember it) were mighty *blue* about not getting paid enough. So they fought, and they won! I didn't even know this picture existed (and, scary enough, I'm even in it -- we'd gone to the picket line to support our teachers, and were QUITE vocal in our support, let me tell ya). Just got wind of the picture recently. Pretty much couldn't wait to share it somewhere. Such a very long time ago ...

This could almost be the car in Gats photo. (OK, it's the same color).

I see... just wood.

When I said, in this or another thread, that this yew tree was at least 1,000 years old DeputyGary asked how I knew it was that old. I said it was known to be fully grown when the Normans built a church next to it. And, I continued, it was from yews like this that the English archers at Agincourt made their longbows... so DeputyGary wanted to know if I was there.

DG? When you're as old as this tree, you too may look gnarled! Assuming I don't catch up with you first.

It was the tree in Mags' photo that reminded me, but as we are still on wood, here is face in tree sited a few metres from the famed 'Dig Tree' - Robert O'Hara Burke, Australian explorer.

The face in the tree reminded me of the face I saw in Sedona, Arizona. I see a face anyway...others may not. :P

Every mountain has a valley.

This mural displays the roots of the coffee growing region of Orosi, and is on the back of the 5,000 colones money bill.

I see... Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts which remind me of sweets (candy) which makes me think of chocolate which makes me think of a box of chocolates I had for Christmas. Sadly the chocolates are long gone but the box was too pretty to throw away!

The tile above reminded me of this rock wall with the gold miner's pan.
