Luna Park in Sydney. Looked like stars when I took it but it must have just been the flash blouncing off dust or something.

A shot of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, rather famously located in Ohio. One of those places that the locals think nothing much of, having had it here for all this time. Others are not so flip, I reckon. It's a truly interesting place --- IF you're into football and the players of it, that is !

This afternoon it rained very, very hard - but only for about ten minutes. This was taken from my front porch, and there was a lovely refreshing spray of water being blown in by the wind

I'm not sure. They were on one of those trees that has lots of dark green leaves and lots of patches of white flowers everywhere. I'll take a picture of the tree next time I go past it.

Beautiful colours, djsgal! Copago, those galahs are gorgeous, what soft pinks and greys.

I like the gallahs, too.

Nothing like Independence Day in Washington, DC! We got to view the fireworks over the National Mall from an office building across the Potomac River.

So do I! I kept trying to photo them when I went to Australia in May. They kept flying in front of the vehicle, but were gone in a flash (and not my camera flash - far too slow....)

I've seen the Chihuly glass at Kew Gardens as well. And who else recognises the galah from Karl Kennedy's house?

Here's the pond at Waterlow Park in Highgate, right next to the hospital where I was born

We literally have mobs of hundreds of galahs around the house at certain times of year. At the moment they must be ready to lay eggs for spring. They are around allllll the time that I think they just don't worry too much about us which is how I got so close ... oh and camera zoom. I've seen them drinking out of water bowls with my dog not too far away.

Here is the mooon from during the day.

Great picture, Copago! Your camera must have a great zoom lens
