The one in progress is moving slowly. I will not be starting another until that one is further along, and certainly not this year.

No idea if anyone would find me an interesting interview subject, or if I qualify as a "prolific" or longer term" member, but I suppose I wouldn't mind talking about myself if given the chance?

The latest interview has been posted and the updated list is now in the previous post.

If I could just add a general reminder - this is taken from the first post in the thread, dating from 2009:

Quote:
The original idea is to get to know staff members, some prolific authors and longer term members.

For the interviews to be of general interest, people need to have come across you - hence the reference to staff members, regular authors and long standing members. You also need to nominate other FT members to ask the questions, so need to 'know' quite a few people on the site. This not intended to discourage anyone from putting themselves forward, but if you've only been on the site for a few months, you would be better to wait a while.

The interview marked as 'in progress' is in its very early stages, so it could be a while before it's ready.

Well, I certainly as a newer person didn't realize that you guys had a criteria of members so long. Disregard my submission.

Sorry but it all sounds so Clubish aka High School. "You can't come in unless you have been let in"...

NO Thank You. High School was what it was, I was a loser. I feel ok here....but...yeah...maybe not?

I don't think I've been here long enough. Though I did reach my century of quizzes.

Kankurette has certainly given us some great quizzes. I'd rather like to read an interview.

Me too. And Id say 9 years on FT definitely qualifies as long-term.

Oooh, thanks! Admittedly, I was on hiatus for a few years but I got back into quizzes recently. Sign me up.

I am a 4 year member, not yet adult (I'm 17), written 53 quizzes yet (37 in past 5 months). I solemnly believe that I don't deserve to be interviewed at present. But I believe that I would have potential to be interviewed after 5 years when I will become Dr. Elai from Elai (whether Elai is not my real name).

Regards
Elai

I'll add Shadowmyst2004 and Kankurette to the list.

LoveAnimals - an interview with you in the future is likely to be more effective than one now, as you have said yourself.

Severyn, I am sorry you feel excluded. We've tried to explain that interviews with players who've been around a while work better.

The person to be interviewed nominates who they want to ask the questions.
