A VERY gifted Old Friend who is never far from this forum, made me this card and it arrived today in the post. Unbelievable!! I can't tell you how gorgeous it is.

I adore snowdrops, they are my favourite.

Snowdrops are gorgeous, and that card is too!!!

Here's a little project I worked on this week with my daughter, for her school project. We made a stylised (and very simplified) model of the Circus Maximus to accompany her written project which she will present to the class next week:

Lovely Sue. Is that for the First Birthday of a certain young madam?

I hadn't thought of that - probably not though.

hello. Found this today. Totally awed by what you all have shared. I paint t-shirts for my husband. My latest effort.

Thanks for the welcome. I actually use acrylics with a special fabric paint solution --found at a craft store. This way he gets to wear his very own designs.

That afghan is LOVELY! I have always wished I could knit and/or crochet.

Thank you. It is knitted and is much easier to make than one might think smile Knitting is one of my favourite hobbies.

Santana: I can only imagine the amount of patience that went into creating all those clean lines and paper folds! How did she fare on the project?

Sue: too adorable for words!

micmac: VERY cool. Hope to see more!

Ballyk: Easy? I couldn't knit to save my LIFE lol. Am sure it will be treasured by the recipient for many years and hopefully future generations!

I also can't knit. I had someone TRY to teach me how to crochet. It was just not my cup of tea. My mom and grandma did, when I was younger, but it's just not something I can do. smile

I almost knitted a scarf once... smile

This is part of an album "all about me" that I have been working on for some time. My sister and I both took an online course and got the downloads for Photoshop and all the instructions. The course was four weeks long, and we took it a year and a half ago. I've got more done on it than my sister has though!

Looks great, Liz! I really enjoy scrapbooking. Very time consuming, though. smile

Love your book of you, Liz!!! and BallyK, great to see you back here!!! You look fabulous in your avatar! And I have to say that your afghan is amazing! I can knit (quite well in fact), but I hate knitting big things! It just gets so heavy and cumbersome on the needles! You must have great patience for such a project!

I've been doing more exercising (and clothes shopping) than crafty stuff recently, but here's a layout I made on one of my 'me' nights:

Next week two of my juniors are off skiing in Switzerland, so maybe I'll have a little free time to dig out my paper and glue again?

Lovely Afgan, Ballyk!

I've started doing some trip pics into scrapbook pages and have been doing some cards lately too .. made a few last weekend and posted them off before I thought to post them!

Here's another one, put together tonight after a dreary, drizzly, grey day, when I felt like a bit of cheerful colour to brighten up the afternoon:
