We have some kind of a pot plant where I work. (It's green & planted in a pot, so I'm assuming that's an accurate description.) Anyway, I digress. This flower suddenly appeared the other day:- It looks rather too much like a triffid for my liking. I'm giving it a wide berth...

We've spent our weekends over the last couple of months renovating our bathroom. This is when we first started to strip out the room. It still isn't finished. I've learned my lesson and will never do it again.

Well - I don't know about elsewhere, but here in Aus we would call that a Madonna Lily.

haha - but we don't expect to win. I heard one conversation on the tele that the Germans "weren't too worried". They could probably field their B team and still win. LOL

That looks like a burnet moth Toni, I've seen many in books but not a real one yet. Here's a typical suburban road in Highgate.

Hey thanks satguru! I'll look into that! I have a very ordinary photo of some very ordinary foxgloves and some very ordinary grass today:

New houses keep going up to replace old ones in the millionaire's areas, this is in Highgate. I'm not mad on the roof but the rest is quite nice.

I hope you don't mind me butting in but I love looking at all your photos. Thanks everyone for supplying them. In answer to Martin Cubes post about the white flower, this happens to be a Peace Lily. I have one in my own kitchen
