Some of my incoming emails are about 20 pt on receipt. It is just one or two regular senders where this happens. On opening the emails, is there any way in Yahoo Classic that I can reduce the size to take up less space to read or print off?

You could always copy and paste it into a word processing program and then change the size.

Other than doing what Guru mentioned above, I don't know of a way to automatically reduce the font size in Yahoo Classic. If the two regular senders are friends, perhaps asking them not to use 20 pt font size would be the best way to go, as the sender is determining font size when they compose the message.

I checked to see if you could set the font size with regular Yahoo mail and it doesn't even look like that is possible unless the sender used plain text to compose the message, "You can change the appearance of text in email messages you send and receive that use plain text. If a message you receive contains HTML code or rich text, you won’t be able to choose the font or the size of the text."

Found that here: http://help.yahoo.com/tutorials/cg/mail/cg_receive1.html

I know if you have a Mac, you could just zoom out of the window until the font was small enough to read comfortably, then 'zoom in' when you're done.

As regards printing, have you explored the browser's ability to 'shrink to fit' a single page?

Thank you for the suggestions and I will try these. My regular sender says he is working with 18 pt because he has poor eyesight but I reckon it is arriving even bigger.

If you have a PC you could still try that. Just hold down "ctrl" and then scroll with the wheel on the mouse.

The Control minus Zoom works well for reading purposes. For printing off, then the Shrink to Fit is still too large, so used the proportional percentage setting alternative on the Print Preview page. This brought it down about right at 70% but the second page of the email is no where to be seen as only one page is shown. Any way of printing off more than one page with the amended size setting?
