The "undressed" tree. We've brought a real one for years, but decided to go back to a pretend tree this year smile
I shall post the "dressed" tree tomorrow laugh

Can't wait to see it all decorated, JM!!!

Last year I promised the juniors that we would start to collect the elements to build up a chrstmas village. Unfortunately they couldn't decide which piece they wanted most last year and we ended up with none. Today, coming home from town with two of the juniors we stopped by the local gardening centre and had a look at what was on offer, and this is the piece we came home with. The windows all light up from insde and it's ever so cute! Can't wait to get some of the pieces with moving elements!

The Mughal Emperor Humayun's tomb at Delhi. President Obama & Michelle visited this place on their recent trip to India. All the others seem to prefer going to see the Taj Mahal at Agra.

It's been so cold and dark I haven't been out with the camera till today. This looks impressive and is actually the end of a row of shops giving access to the flats above. Architect designed though.

Another shot of the kangaroo. See how green it is? We've had twice our average rainfall this year which is a huge difference to the year before where we didn't even get a third of it. Here's a link to a photo from November last year .. not much green stuff about! november goats

Zorba: wow, wonderful pix as always. They make me feel warm (we had snow warnings today and somewhere around 70 or so traffic accidents. It took me 45 minutes to get home this evening - it is normally a 12 minute drive for me during summer LOL)

Jane: nice tree indeed! And such lovely work on the card and your ornaments

And of course I love all the catpix, especially SOTHC's BB&F (too funny, you can almost imagine them conversing like the old guys in the balcony on the Muppet Show lol)

Copago: you are getting "scary good" with your photos lately. The sunset is fabulous (as are the roo pics)

Satguru: I gather your snow went away? Would you like some of mine? (shovelled for 2 hours this evening lol)

The snow has just returned, and I have to go out tomorrow evening if possible. Fingers crossed.
This is a typical modernist house, sadly few kept the original windows.

You are quite right Ren, that was the first time she saw snow and she soon came inside! Your Rosie looks far more comfortable than is allowed! Cats have the knack, don't they?
