LoL, nothing to be sorry about Ren! I was just panicking because Photobucket was not being the slightest bit cooperative the last two nights.

But while we're on the subject of time zones, there are 6 of them in Canada. SpanishLiz is two hours different from me. When I was a kid, there used to be a "joke" which went:

"The world will end at midnight. 12:30 in Newfoundland"

SpanishLiz: nice wallhanging! Did you make it?

Auntie: that cat has a very guilty look on its face.. "uh-oh, she caught me!" lol

Okay, going off to think about six something-or-others now ~

The wall hanging was a present a few years ago, I'm not handy with a needle and thread smile I've just been waiting until Ren posts to make it officially the 'next' day, assuming I already know what 'my true love' has given me...

SpanishLiz: When my eyes were much much younger, I enjoyed cross stitch and petit point. Am quite hopeless with everything else.
The most "sewing" I do these days is quick mending jobs on my Singer.

Ren: forgot to mention how lovely those orchids are. My favourite "house plant" since they like to be ignored lol.

Zorba: what pretty bottles. Nice capture of the reflections of light too!

On the seventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me

...seven juicy oranges smile

(I already have 8, 9 and 12 waiting, and ideas for the other two.)

Like Liz, I've got days 8 to 12 covered. A lot of the early stuff was too perishable
to wait, so what the heck! I did the lot.

SEVEN "Stars of Bethlehem".
A down-under name for Agapanthus or Nile Lily, because they're usually in full flower on Christmas Day.

On the seventh day of christmas I have a seven-piece place setting to show you:

Dinner plate, napkin, entrée plate, knife, fork, spoon and wine glass ... all that's missing is the food to go with it, and as we are having raclette (various salamis, bacon and other charcuterie grilled on a hot plate, accompanied by boiled potatoes smothered in cheese melted underneath the grill of the hot plate) tonight, it will be a case of each man for himself!!!

On the seventh day of Christmas..
SEVEN home-made butter tarts

(ummm, there WERE 12, but SOMEbody ate 5 of them before I could take a picture lol)

(they were a present from my boss. He's such a nice man, not only did he bake them, but gift wrapped them individually!)

Eight cards to make...

This card kit is an actual Christmas gift, from my sister, who knows how much I enjoy making cards from kits like this one.

On the eighth day of Christmas, two true luvs gave each other:
EIGHT days in Mexico

Departure is many weeks from now, but hopefully will have time to lose enough weight to fit into my old swimsuit LOL

Auntie: those little ornaments are adorable!!

On the ninth day of Christmas...
NINE assorted angels:

(there's plenty of angels in my house, they're just not all in one place and they vary wildly in size, so had to do a sort of "collage")

Wow SpanishLiz! Those are WAY too pretty to eat!
Do you know how the decorating of the one on the far left (with the snowflakes) was done? Is it a fondant? Hand"painted" with icing? Stencil? They are ALL lovely, but that one has me particularly intrigued : )

Sorry, I don't know how any of the decorating was done. They do look too nice to eat though, don't they?
