Wow mehaul, that's something you don't see every day.

The last time I gazed into the sky, this is all I saw!

Mehaul, I am confused, did you take the photo yourself or just play with someone else's photo?

Mehaul's picture may be better suited to the "Image Art" thread. He wrote in the blurb underneath the picture that he just reversed the color attributes, but not that he took it himself. (Or is the "Image Art" thread only for ones you've taken yourself as well?)

Just a quick question on the rules - Do "photo a day" photos have to be posted as taken, or is a little bit of computer adjustment tolerated for this thread.
I do like to play around with some of my photos and I haven't been to sure if they would be acceptable to place here, or if they should go in the Image art thread.

If I may use the photo below as an example, this is pretty close to the original photo but I have taken out what colour was present to (hopefully) enhance the photo. Can this (and similarly adjusted photos) be placed on these threads, or should they go in the Image art thread?

Gees63 - Your snow storm photo is fantastic :-)

Howie - I'm really enjoying your New Zealand pics.

Szabs - Thanks for your comment, and loving your beach pics :-)

QB - That's one great action photo, amazing shot!

What a great month from everybody, well done all!

Trev, to me that is recogniseable as what it is, a beautiful snow scene, albeit enhanced by you. It is your shot and only the colour tweaked by you. I would not call it Image Art.

The image of Hoag's Object was taken by all of us in a sense. It belongs to all humanity. It was taken (as I indicated) by the Hubble Space Telescope. But I would not say it is Art just because I manipulated the colors attributes. I would think that when an image arises that doesn't quite fit any of the boundaries established in these threads that the threads would be inclusive and not exclusive (just as some of the images with people are accepted). Advice that it may be better suited in the Image Art Gallery is welcome and I will take that as a compliment. And consider it moved.

Still yesterday on FT so here goes. There is actually a pylon website so every time I see one I take it for them. This is in Mitcham and there are actually many different types although not noticeably different to most.

I hope the upright size is ok, if not I'll reduce it a bit.
