We had some great "Rocks and Stones". Thanks to all.
Now we have "Green" The colour or the concept, interpret it how you wish. Go Green!

My reusable shopping bag, that folds up to pocket-sized, is green in both senses of the word!

Lots of Chinese veggies appearing on the allotments near my house. The left hand mountain is China!

Nice shot!

A Yank tank in Havana.

I've been corrected by Mehaul. The car in the photo is from the Eastern Bloc so doesn't qualify for the term Yank tank.

Green as far as the eye can see, in Australia.

Last October we attended the York Garden Show. This goldfish pond was in one of the prize-winning gardens. I took the photo because it was absolutely alive with flies, but unfortunately, they don't show up in the photograph as impressively as real life.

I noticed how many of our "green" subjects were linked with water.
This shrub has been shaped by the prevailing winds of Port Phillip.

Playing "catch up" again as I haven't been here for a few weeks..

Auntie: Your yard is WAY too big for me to tackle! Lovely though!

Liz: your pic is definitely a "winner" for this theme in my mind, because you managed two different meanings of the word in one go!

Howie: ooooh, bugs are one of my favourite photo subjects. Nice capture!

Szabs: ok, you REALLY need to blow that one up and have it framed. Fabulous Frog!

DalmatianL: dewdrops and raindrops are one of the hardest things to photograph, very nice job! And welcome! Hope to see more of your pictures : )

Zorba: When I first looked at that photo, I thought perhaps the graphics team from the animated movie "Cars" dropped that vehicle in the middle of the photo. VERY cool (even though it's an "ungodly" shade of green) LOL!

This picture was taken last summer. I almost didn't see the female yellow warbler (who is actually more olive than yellow in colour) amongst the peas... that is, until I witnessed 5 pea flowers disappear rapidly inside of a minute LOL

A fortnight is nothing if there is no poetry. I present

Woolbright's Greenlights

This is from the intersection around the corner from my house. Florida puts the names of the crossing road on the streetlight tension hang wire. Helps us old blighters from getting lost. Our favorite saying: "Oops, we should have turned back there!" I had to wait until 3:30AM for the traffic to be non-existent so I could stand in the street to capture the image.

Young grapes on the vine at Houghton's Winery in the Swan Valley, Western Australia. Houghton's wines are very good and the winery is a lovely place to visit and have a picnic. But why is that a bottle of Houghton's wine that costs $11.50 at the winery, only costs $6.50 at a supermarket in the Netherlands! (Yes, I know, it's to do with taxes, tariffs, import and export duties etc - but somehow it just doesn't seem right!).
