The very successful Green theme is about to finish and tomorrow I will lock it. The new Theme is "Small Things"
Why, you may ask? Well Our very own ladymacb29 presented us with a new FT member this week. She is called Kathryn Sara( anyone with that second name has to be a sweetie, eh?)
We cannot post baby pics, but Small things is OK for a theme I reckon. Think Small!

Using a few special lenses, I was able to take extreme macro pictures. You can even see the pixellation of the print in the label. The focus was meant to be on the 'V', and the depth of field was meant to be very narrow. Just experimenting can lead to interesting results.

Leo, I am presuming that the label is Glenlivet. I suggest that the blurriness may come from your eyes, not the camera. smile

These small things (thimbles) are very special to me because they were sent to me by a very special FunTrivia member who frequents these forums. Her kindness is greatly appreciated as they delight me every time I look at them (they hang on the wall above the place where I do my ironing, so I get to look at them fairly often).

This little moth is no bigger than my thumbnail, so its caterpillar progeny won't do much damage to the foliage - I hope!

Tough one for me this - I don't do much macro, but luckily I found this Ischian butterfly...

I'll have you know that most of the bottle was consumed after the picture was taken...

This little owl brooch is about an inch long. I found and snapped it in a friend's antique and vintage clothing shop.

I'm never sure if I should call them ladybirds or ladybugs, I tend to say ladybird, it just sounds much nicer.

Fabulous shot Trev1! For too many years, people tried to eradicate all their garden pests with chemicals. Now they wonder what happened to the bees and the ladybirds - DUH!

The brush strokes of a silvered (aluminum) roof coating. This is about 2"x3". This was taken near dusk accounting for the golden hue (when I'd finished the task and couldn't stand up high enough to get a good full roof shot in. The ol'back was too stiff).

The Littlest Hiker.
All ready for his first bushwalk, slathered in sunscreen with a drink and snacks in his little backpack.

Aww, how cute. smile

Here's a young gull, also going for a walk and trying hard to keep his feet dry:

I guarantee you this is nowhere as cute as all the above pictures, but it's small and yukky!

Ooh, I like ladybirds too. I don't have a photo of one, but here is another small orange and black creature, this time a fuzzy one.
