Here we go on our new photo chain.

Take inspiration from the last photo (in Photo Chain) and post it to the thread. In the words of Jillian, it can be as obvious or as tenuous as you like .. just have fun with it!

The last photo was a red brick building once owned by a railway and now a community arts centre.

Here is another red brick building, formerly a railway station and now a Seniors Centre.

On the theme of stations this is Haymarket Bus Station in Newcastle which was partly funded by Marks And Spencers as it gave them a nice new entrance to the rear of their store

From the Sculptures by the Sea exhibition at Cottesloe Beach. I'm still trying to decide whether I like this one or not.

I tried to get a clearer shot but there were too many lamp posts in the way. I should've realised that you must've visited Mumbai when you mentioned going to Panchgani. smile

1980! So all my photos are real ones and so faded as to be unscannable. I loved it all and your pictures bring it back.My husband had been at school in Panchgani.

Here's another sculpture/statue, tucked away in an alley in the old town of Quebec City.

We have almost exactly that picture, Zorba! We spent our honeymoon in Quebec, lo these many years ago.

Here's the regimental goat (and his regiment - the Royal 22nd Canadian) in the Citadel

Ooh, regimental goat?

Okay - you can't actually *see* it, but it's definitely on the pitch. I always think it's so nice for them to be there - it'll be something for them to tell the kids...

These are Tennessee Fainting Goats. Not a very good picture I am afraid but the location wasn't conducive to taking photos (taken in Calistoga, California, on our USA trip in 2008).

The following information from Wikipedia explains about their fainting episodes:

"A fainting goat is a breed of domestic goat whose muscles freeze for roughly 10 seconds when the goat is startled. Though painless, this generally results in the animal collapsing on its side. The characteristic is caused by a hereditary genetic disorder called myotonia congenita. When startled, younger goats will stiffen and fall over. Older goats learn to spread their legs or lean against something when startled, and often they continue to run about in an awkward, stiff-legged shuffle."
