Y' know? There are those rare occasions when it's almost a given that an actor/actress was almost "born" to play/slip into the skin of a character in the movies or on TV. Jack Nicholson was one, as he played The Joker in Batman. Another that comes to mind was Shelley Duvall as she mastered being Olive Oyl in that older-ish film Popeye. Without question, another needs to be added to that list, yes ? Who better suited to play The Grinch than Jane Lynch slash Sue Sylvester? "I don't hate Christmas, Will. I just hate you!" Yep, I was rolling. What a great episode, all-around. So much heart in it that I was over the moon watching it all. I, too, am now 100% convinced that Miss Beiste is the level best addition to the cast that could have happened this year ! And to see the look on Artie's face as he stood up and took a step or two? Priceless, I tell ya. Priceless.

I couldn't agree more. It's indeed Sue the Grinch. And her little helper, Beckie is fun to watch as well, lol. She worked so hard to Sue.

Anyone watched the latest episode, "Original Songs" yet? It's another brilliant episode featuring many nice songs.

I watched it! I never miss an episode of Glee, and I'm bummed out that now we have to wait four weeks for a new episode!

But yes, last night's episode was just perfect.

The original songs the kids wrote were just hilarious. All of them. Rachel singing about being "the only Berry on the family tree" . Santana's "ode" to Sam's mouth, haha! Poor Sam, he looked mortified. But Santana sounded awesome singing that song! She's come a long way since season one. And Puck's song to Lauren was sweet and funny at the same time. And Mercedes's song... it was perfect for her. I also loved all of the Warblers' numbers and Rachel singing "Get It Right" was amazing. Lea Michele has such a beautiful voice. And funnily enough, I like "Loser Like Me" more now after watching New Directions performing the song at Regionals. Oh, and Aural Intensity's very cheearleding-like and religious number? Very funny stuff! And you could totally tell Sue was their coach, haha

I loved this episode because it was very well-balanced. It had character development, great musical numbers, witty and funny dialogue, and Sue being just mean old (and hilarious) Sue. And I loved Kurt singing "Blackbird". Chris Colfer can do no wrong, and to take on a Beatles song no less and do it so well. And what about Darren Criss? He was excellent. When he's watching Kurt singing, the look on his face says it all. And then the very sweet scene that follows that. I take my hat off to both of them!

Have you been watching all the new episodes, Matthew? I often check Glee's forum over at IMDB and people complain so much over there. But I think the show is just as good as when it started.

Sorry for the late reply, minkpenny. Yes, I have watched all the new episodes. Now waiting for episode 17. Sue's "Tweedledum and Tweedle Fake Boobs" quote was one of the highlights of "Original Song".

I read on wiki that "Glee" will cover more songs from Lady Gaga. And Holly Holiday will star in more episodes, and the best thing is that Terri is coming back. Ah, don't we miss her?

I just started watching this show since it's available streaming from Netflix and I'm home with a newborn. It's very good! I wish I'd started watching it from the beginning.

I'm really looking forward to the new episodes as well! Although this hiatus isn't as long as the other ones we've had to endure, April 19th can't come fast enough.

I also read they're doing more Lady Gaga songs (I read it's going to be "Born This Way"), it should be great! And besides Holly Holiday and Terri coming back (totally agree with you, Matthew, yay for Terri, she's mean and manipulative, but her character is a great part of the show) April Rhodes is also coming back! I LOVE Kristin Chenoweth, so I'm really happy she's back.

And Beth, first of all, congratulations on your baby!!! I can see from your avatar that she's absolutely beautiful Congratulations again! And it's a good thing Netflix started streaming "Glee", now you can catch up on it!

After a month of hiatus, "Glee" returns with a brand new episode, "A Night of Neglect", yay! Charice will sing "All By Myself". And the next episode, "Born This Way" will be 90-minute long, wow!

Yay! The hiatus is over, I'm so happy I just finished watching tonight's episode - I loved it! And I can't wait for next week's episode!! A 90-minute episode of "Glee"?? Yes, please!

How did you like the episode, Matthew?

The only storyline that I like in "A Night of Neglect" is Sue's revenge team and how she assigned nicknames to everyone of them. Finally, Holly is leaving the show. I think I have seen enough of her, lol. The songs in this episode were a bit boring and dull though, but I definitely like Mercedes' "Ain't No Way".

Kristin Chenoweth will guest star again in the next episode. I like her. Looking forward to watching "Born This Way" next week.

How many episodes will there be for season 2? 22? I can't find any reliable source online. I hope there'll be 24 or more.

I don't know, I thought it was pretty funny. The whole Braniacs decathlon was great! Brittany knowing all about cat diseases was hilarious And Artie getting all happy with the "white rappers" category. Oh and of course, loved the last category, which they knew all about thanks to Holly Holiday. Funny stuff.

And did you notice that only the girls got solos tonight? Sunshine, Tina, Holly and Mercedes. I also liked Mercedes singing "Ain't No Way". She has such a powerful voice.

And I read somewhere that Glee was coming back with the final six episodes of the season, so I guess there will be 22 episodes. I wish there were more too, but 22 isn't bad at all, and also we already know for sure that there'll be a third season!

I really hope it's not Burt Hummel or Carole Hudson (Well, I guess she's Hummel now!) I don't know what to think of this... I don't want to see any character dying, so sad!! But this is Glee, it's a musical comedy, it can't get super sad or too dark, so I'm really baffled by this. And regarding the "major couple"... I was thinking maybe it's Artie and Brittany? Lol, I also don't like Finn and Quinn together. In fact, I don't like Quinn - both her personality and singing. I prefer Finchel.

Hm, so most probably it's Jesse? Oh no... I am not a fan of Jesse, but I don't want him gone as well. Rachel would be so emotional again.

The plot summary says "one of the students...", I was going to say it's Blaine, but then again now we know that the person is a female now.

Hm, but if it's either Jean or Becky, it will only affect Sue right? And not the students?

Could it be Beiste? She is lovable, and we have not seen her in a very long time. I read the comments there and some guess that it would be either April (oh, no please) and or Lauren. I think Lauren is plausible. Puck would be devastated.

Actually, it does make sense. You see, Kurt is back and now New Directions has one extra member. So Lauren has to go.

Tonight's episode is a bit lengthy. Poor Finn, lol. And even poorer Rachel. I definitely love the last number "Born This Way".

I don't think it'll be April, she's a guest-star and I'm sure Ryan Murphy and Co. will want to bring her back next season. It's true that Beiste hasn't been on much in the last part of the season. But I doubt it's her, and it's not Lauren either because I've seen pictures of the cast filming in New York and she's there with them. Yes, now that Kurt is back, she's not really "needed" since there are 12 of them again. But that doesn't mean she has to go. The Glee club can have more than 12 members

Last night's episode was great. Loved all the musical numbers and all the character development. It's great to see that Emma is getting some overdue help with her OCD. She was really good in all her scenes. Kathleen Quinlan plays her therapist, and I love that she's on Glee! She's an excellent actress.

Can't wait for next week's episode! Fleetwood Mac songs, Kristin Chenoweth, Sue dressed up as David Bowie... it'll be awesome

Another new week. I love "Don't Stop" at the end of the episode of "Rumours" and also Finn and Quinn's first ever duet. Still, I prefer Finchel though.

Looking forward to watching next week's "Prom Queen". I am sure it's an interesting episode with Santana, Lauren and Quinn all going for that title.

I loved "Rumours"! Such a good episode. My favorite numbers were "Never Going Back Again" and "Songbird". Naya Rivera did an amazing job with that song. She has such a good voice, she's turning out to be the surprise of season two. And all the acoustic guitars during "Never Going Back Again" were great! I also liked Artie singing a song that didn't involve rapping, haha. And Kristin Chenoweth was awesome, as always.

I'm also really looking forward to next week's episode. I read about that extra spoiling who wins the Prom Queen title. What a wrong thing to pull. Now we know who wins, but that's okay, I'm sure there'll be lots of other surprises and fun things to look for. Oh! And Jonathan Groff is coming back, yay! Jesse was really mean to Rachel and I didn't like him for that, so I'm hoping he's coming to apologize to her.

I totally agree with you about the acoustic guitar scene. I am okay with Puck and Sam playing guitar because I know that they know how to play the instrument. But do you notice that Finn was also carrying and playing a guitar? A bit awkward to me, lol. But he did look good playing drums though.

Lol, I thought the very same thing while watching that scene. But then I watched the "Behind the Glee" video that they release every week after the episode has aired, and in it Cory says that although he doesn't play the guitar as well as Mark and Chord, that he can manage with it. So after hearing him say that, Finn being in that scene makes more sense And he definitely looked good playing the drums!

Yet another brilliant episode. Don't we all love "Dancing Queen"? Santana and Dave looked amazing. I also love the song by Blaine, Tina and Brittany. As well as "Friday", by Puck, Sam an Artie.

Yes! What an awesome episode, I love this show so much! I thought all the girls looked beautiful. My favorite dress was probably Rachel's. Quinn really looked like Cinderella, just like her mom said. This episode was so fun and sweet... I felt bad for Artie not getting to go to prom with Brittany and felt so bad for Kurt. But then he proved how awesome he is and delivered that perfect line "eat your heart out, Kate Middleton" . Loved that! It was also great to see Jesse back (Jonathan Groff should join the regular cast, along with Darren Criss). I'm glad he apologized to Rachel. Their duet was amazing. I really liked all of the songs tonight, too. And yes, we do all love "Dancing Queen", haha. Mercedes and Santana sing together really well.

Okay, that was a long paragraph!

Cannot wait for next week's episode and then Nationals!! I'll miss "Glee" so much when it's done for the season... good thing there are reruns.
