Take your pick. Or an arched window. Whatever!

Window over an entrance to St George's Cathedral in the heart of the city of Perth. It's the main Anglican church in WA. The building of the cathedral commenced in 1879 and it was finished and consecrated in 1888. The bricks are all hand-made. It's currently undergoing extensive restoration.

A Roman aqueduct in Nerja, Spain, that is still in use today for irrigation.

This is a window in the HK Football Club. They all depict a different sport. Not too good as the light in there is iffy.

These arches don't actually go anywhere.

The statues are on the outer walls of Salisbury Cathedral. Many were damaged by centuries of wind and rain; many others - especially those within easy reach - were damaged or destroyed by Roundheads (although the cathedral in general escaped from the worst excesses of Puritan zeal). Restoration is a fine art - in some places damaged statues are left as they are, in others they are restored or in some cases replaced, a testimony to the skills of modern masons.

Talking of the skills of modern masons, I have posted what I think is a wonderful example of that in the daily photo thread. Have a look.

Salisbury isn't an Arch-diocese so those bishops are underneath the Arches. wink

This church window is dedicated to the memory of my son-in-law's grandfather.
A businessman and the father of nine children, he became an Anglican priest later in life.

A natural arch (near Cabo San Lucas). It's certainly not the best picture I've ever taken, but the margaritas served on the sailboat were RATHER strong to say the least LOL

FABulous pictures for this theme everybody!

This is a synagogue in Savannah Georgia

And ok, I have a fly ready to go (would that be a fly on the fly?).
Can we have somewhere to put it?
Also, maybe this one could run longer so we have a chance to post one pic for every animal listed in the song? (I'm only asking because I'm a Libra and can't make decisions lol).

p.s. there should be a spider in that list somewhere
