This year's race is almost here. The scoring system is the same as last year's race : Kentucky Derby 2010
which is the same as the Grand National last month : Grand National 2011

Race time:

this year's race is on Saturday 7th May and the race starts at 6:15pm ET
which is 4:15pm FT time, 2215 hrs GMT, 11:15pm London, 8:15am Sunday in Sydney

Deadline : tips close 15 minutes before they jump at 4:00pm FT time.

Does anyone know at what time the field is announced tomorrow?

It looks like it has already been announced.

This site only lists 20 horses.

They're the highest ranks contenders. We won't know the starting field until the post positions are announced (the barrier draw and fnal acceptances in oz).

One site says the post positions are announced at 12 noon ET on Wed 4th May and this one says it's at 4:45 pm ET Wed 4th May. It doesn't matter which one is correct, we'll both be in la-la land!
