Welcome, Yoofaloof! Don't worry, the clues pop up more than once an in no particular order. The treasure hunt is one of the longer challenges. I've been pursuing it for years! Of course there are others who have found it much quicker than that. Glad you're enjoying the site.

Welcome and watch your step too. There's a little rubber ducky waddling around here and you never know where the dang thing'll turn up.

The duck is mine, all mine I tell you! mwahahahaha! And I keep her locked up, well away from duck thieves and people who don't know ducks are female. Otherwise it would be a Lucky Drake. PS Yoofaloof, the Treasure Clues should certainly be written down, I used a Notepad file, some people use Word. If you ever decide to get a new computer, make sure it's in your list of things to transfer/print before the changeover or you'll have to start again. Reasons for edit: spotted an oops.

And lest we confuse Yoofaloof needlessly... The Treasure Clues have to do with the Treasure challenge, and the Lucky Ducky is another (totally random) challenge altogether.

Some things are "funny" when you're a long-time member, but thank goodness shue was nice enough to let a newbie know that ducks have very little to do with the Treasure (but other animals do lol). I wish you luck on your treasure seeking. Quite frankly, it was probably the most (personally) satisfying badge I ever earned. It took me about six months. YMMV (Your mileage may vary).

The list of winner is found at http://www.funtrivia.com/badge_winners.cfm?bid=90It would appear that if the chosen person already has the ducky then it doesn't award that day, as you see there wasn't one given on 1st June nor on 16th May for instance.

I wasn't seriously questioning the duck, just noting that you hear far more people bemoaning its elusiveness than you do celebrating its arrival. If I ever get it, EVERYONE is going to know about it!

One of my team members caught a duck. So they do exist - the Lucky Duck is not as mythical as Nessie (from Loch Ness).

I have already prepared my acceptance speech in readiness for when I am awarded the elusive duck.

I wonder if there is anyone else out there who has been searching for the Treasure for almost four years. I haven't been constant about it, I go in fits and starts... I know that I will really value this badge if and when I ever get it.

I know that I will really value this badge if and when I ever get it. I've been searching it since I came to this site, but only started seriously trying to get it a few months ago. Ironically, I've barely gotten any clues since then.

I'm still hunting down the treasure. I once had almost all the clues, just to arrive at the conclusion they were mixed up in the wrong order.

Yippee! After almost four years, victory is mine!
And it all added up to a punctuation mistake that I'd been making for years and didn't realize until now. What a wonderful hunt!
Thanks, Terry, for the convoluted and crazy hoops you made us jump through with that one.
