Do you get points every time someone plays your quiz, do you win badges?

There are currently no quizzes for the amount of plays you receive. I figure it'd be too easy to cheat; just get all your friends to play it over and over (as guests).

There are badges and points earned for writing quizzes, however. You get them as they go online. 2,000 points per quiz added to your points total and then badges for certain landmarks or breadth of submissions.

If you're not ready for a full quiz you can dip your toe in the water by writing single questions. There are badges available there, too.

A separate question, related to Kyle's comment ... do guest 'plays' count towards the figure for total plays of our quizzes? I've been under the impression that only plays by registered site members actually count ... confused

The number of plays you see is an inflated number to reflect guest plays, but the number of guest plays (and registered players whose scores are no longer saved) is not kept track of exactly. I believe it's number of registered members x3 to give an estimate of how many total times it was played.

I used to wonder why so many players didn't rate my quizzes (especially the ones that were sitting on 18 ratings frown ). When I found out that the actual plays by people who can rate is one-third the total shown, it didn't look nearly as uncaring. Until I read that, I had never noticed that the number of plays is always a multiple of 3!
