It would great to have another team badge as currently you max out at one million points which is achievable in about a year. What about a Team Patriot badge for 2 000 000 points with the SAME Team?

Team Patriot badge sounds good, but I think the target points should be a lot higher so that it does actually reward someone for being a Patriot to a particular Team.

Perhaps another badge for more team points would be nice.

But I hate the name "Team Patriot."

Is there any way to know which team a player got their team points from? How do you differentiate between 2,000,000 points from one team from 2,000,000 from a few teams?

We don't track which team you got your points from. Limiting team point badges to points earned with the same team would also open up the possibility for various frustrating situations - especially if a team leader were to disband a team or kick out a member just before they reach their target, thus voiding all their work.

How about, in keeping the capitalist/acquisition theme (Stakeholder, Tycoon, Magnate), we use "Team Baron"? or "Team Mogul"?

I like Mogul - Baron is a nobility title and would rather fit into the Point Duke / Prince / King series.

@Buddy1
I know there was mention of something along the lines of a badge in relation to specialized expert categories.
Maybe something like winning a number (15 or 20 or something along those lines) of specialized expert categories. Or maybe a combination: something like 150 categories with 20 of them being specialized categories.

@Terry
Yeah, I'd like to expand expert to at least another mini or maybe two.

========================

Ages ago I suggested something for collecting complete "sets" of Expert wins - not just a particular number of random (or specialised category) wins, but all the categories in a natural grouping.

E.g. school science - astronomy, biology, chemistry, maths, whatever else fits.

Or for categories that are divided into a bunch of alphabetised groups, get the whole alphabet.

Not sure how to make that into just 1 or 2 badgelets. Pick a couple of favourite sets, maybe.

It's been 67 days (minimum time plus a week) since Terry started the Brain Twisted badge and we now have 18 honorees. Congratulations to you all.

I loved that badge and strongly re-iterate my desire for a further one - for a significant number of perfect games, even if it might take years. smile

Idea for badge/let:

-- similar to the 'Love', 'Lizards' etc, or Mission Impossible

-- a badge/let for playing quizzes written "for Dummies" (this quiz for example: http://www.funtrivia.com/trivia-quiz/SciTech/Quantum-Physics-for-Dummies-360650.html ) The badge could be called 'no dummy' or something better than that. laugh

It's hard to see if there are enough "for Dummies" quizzes out there because the search option only brings up a selection of "baseball for dummies" but I know there are more because I've played and enjoyed them! If not, I am confident that the quiz writing posse could add some. smile

Delete this, please, if the idea is already in progress! blush

There are at least 93 baseball for dummies quizzes that Nightmare wrote since there is a "Baseball for Dummies #93".
Also, if this idea is in progress, I don't think your post needs to be deleted. Simply mentioning the idea is in progress is good enough.

Aha! So that's why a search for the term "for dummies" only comes up with baseball quizzes. smile
Maybe Wesley has a super-search facility that can find "for dummies" quizzes in the other categories. I found another one today, for example: http://www.funtrivia.com/trivia-quiz/Literature/Shakespeare-For-Dummies-331320.html
It would be nice to have a 'dummies' badge that covers all categories.

What would "Dummies for Dummies" relate to? I'll check out that particular quiz later.

Doesn't a search containing Dummies != Baseball return results for Dummies that do not contain Baseball in the title? Search engines used to have exclusion phrasing like != (doesn't equal). Pardon the post if off base. I haven't read search engine rules in quite a while.

I'm not sure if that works or not, but I was under the impression that a simple minus sign ("-") does that anyway.

EDIT: I've just tested it, and it doesn't work (either with or without the space before the word). The "-" still works, though.

Yes, I used the minus sign in my example above. I believe Dummies for Dummies is about ventriloquists smile

After taking a good long look at the current challenge variety, the following would plug some gaps - levels refer to the gem hall numbers:

- A high level (7 or 8) award similar to the yellow flag epic.
- Some mid-level (3 to 6) team-based challenges. Two would do well here.
- A low-level (1 to 4) badge(let) for a smaller endurance task (e.g. collecting 10 qualifying scores in a particular hourly). Also an area where 2 would fit.
- An intro-level (1 or 2) Daily Game award. Maybe base this on the Daily untimed.
- A diamond-level (8) award for standard quiz playing. Could be something epic like getting 100 perfect scores on quizzes on their first day on the site.

Not that it's in the cards for me, but how about counting the number of champion Who's the Expert wins players rack up, and a badge for achieving a certain number of them?

"A perk:
Player may replay one daily game, once per week.

This perk help to complete many daily challenges."

If this were done, I'd want the original score to count for the team score, not the do-over.

It would be nice if there were a way to earn a gold membership.
