We have seen some great results on the theme of Night before. This week's theme is devoted to that subject. Thanks all.

The sun had just finished going down over Lake Ontario. Taken in September 2009.

Wow... Gorgeous pictures.

This one's from 1979 when I took a trip to London and a friend and I decided we'd try our hands at night photos.

These are all great photos.

I may have posted this one before but it fits the theme. It's the
Wills building in Bristol at night (hence the lack of daylight.)
I thought it came out very well considering it was taken without
the aid of a tripod or safety net.

Liz: Lake Ontario looks remarkably calm in that pic!
Martin: (giggles) at the safety net bit lol. VERY nice capture
Pyonir: w00t! time-lapse tail lights. You're my current hero lol
Zebra: love the white on black
Flopsy: lovely lingering light in that photo. I'm not normally a fan of "borders", but I really think the minimalist orange line complements the picture PERfectly.
Gees: liking all your photos
Ertrum: very nice. Are there more?

Here is the desk at work on night duty. It was a fairly quiet night so you'll see the laptop on the desk with FunTrivia ready to go wink If it's busier or quieter it gets messier!

The camera's not happy at night but this is the North Circular Road in Ealing

Szabs: ok, that is the most "surrealistic" REAL (unadulterated) photo I've seen in many months. That red moon is FABulous, as is the statue and the "viewpoint". I dearly hope you've enlarged/framed/hung that particular photo!

Ertrum: All the London night scene ones you've posted so far are interesting. The lights make the buildings look "alive" somehow. Spooky but VERY cool. Thanks for sharing them.

Satguru: well the camera may not have been "happy", but it's certainly an interesting result. Rod Serling could have used that pic for one of his Twilight Zone episodes : ) I like it!

Chavs: lovely capture, and welcome!

A very BLURRY photo, but these are the 3 pumpkins I carved for Hallowe'en last fall (and it's the only "night" one I could readily find that I hadn't posted already lol)
