Every time someone brings up silly topics, I have no choice. We've had titles about toast, budgies, sheep in politics, and even weirder show up in there.

How about one on long streaks of hot weather? Next Saturday I will most likely break a record that no one wanted to see broken...43 days at or above 100°F...consecutive. The record is 42.

I decided to play the alchemy game, and I got the letter N for this hour's game. I looked into the letters I had stored, and what do I find? All the letters needed to spell the word ZINC! As it turns out, I had a Z as one of my stored letters for at least four months. Coming out of WW retirement is nice!

lol, nice, Cubs. I'm still looking for the C. Right now, I have letters where if I get an N, I get Neon, and if I get a C, I get Zinc. :-)

I've had several Zs since then, including two at once the other day. I was forced to zigzag across other people's grief as they searched for their pot of zinc.

I like to think of it as akin to finding hidden treasure that I had all along. Or a crumpled up $20 bill in a pair of pants I hadn't worn in months!

I finally bagged the elusive Z today and am anxiously awaiting my badge, since it's been so long since I got the other words. I'm sure the system is working fine, I'm just a worrier by nature.

I've had 4 Q's, 2 V's an X and a Y with a couple of vowels, as I'm hanging on to my LNCO it doesn't leave a lot of room to make words with the rest!

What might be an idea (if it's feasible for Terry), how about a shuffle feature which could only be used say once a week, that shuffled the letters so your earliest vowels and consonants changed and gave you another option for trading?

Just remember, shuffling doesn't mean it would always come out better than you had it originally, it could actually come out worse. Bwaaa haaa haaa haaa! (That's my imitation of a Simon Lagree malevolent laugh....)

Having just finished the "Word Alchemy", here's another mini-challenge idea I thought of for Starlord and others to sink their teeth into. Five 5-letter Fruits - apple, grape, guava, lemon and peach.
