So they're going ahead with the black shirt thing? What an odd decision that was :?

Good start there last night though and you get the feeling it's going to be a pretty good tournament.

Very sporty time of year .. cricket, union, league and tennis all on last night .. I love it!

And here we are at the tail end of it all.
With all the hype in the media for the Kiwi/Wallabies game tonight the final next week is going to be a bit of a let down!

Looking forward to it .. League game followed by the Rugby and some cricket in the mix later .. not a bad line up! laugh

And to top it all off, the World Scrabble Championship will be finalised tonight, live from Warsaw (believe it or not!)- an Aussie taking on a Kiwi! smile

The scrabble game might have to be the tie-breaker after we win the League and the Kiwis win the Union! My predictions anyway but I bet the Union Kiwis are a bit worried.

So, on point aggregate, we are still in front. smile

Scrabble is 1-1 at the moment in a best-of-5. I thought you would be interested smile

I'll be an honorary Kiwi next Sunday night! If we can't win it I'd love to see the Kiwis win, especially after their awful year with the Christchurch earthquake. They deserve a little joy. Good luck All Blacks! smile

And go the Aussies in the Scrabble tourney! wink

It's not a case of supporting the All Blacks, more anyone but the French!

Nigel Richards (NZ) is the World Champion for the second time. He had the run of luck against Andrew Fisher from Australia and won 3-2.

Nigel got 9 of the 10 possible blanks and he is just too good to give that sort of advantage to.

Congrats to the Kiwis for winning the weekend and hopefully they do NOT win the Melbourne Cup in a couple of weeks time. smile

Having said that, I will be barracking for them against the Froggies...

France v NZ.. the Rainbow Warrior cup! Let's hope our ANZAC brothers give the Frogs a rugby lesson and the penalty count goes the same way as the blank count in Scrabble. laugh

Well, congratulations to New Zealand for winning, even if it wasn't quite the rugby lesson everyone was hoping for. Let's hope that the news spreads, because obviously, not everyone is up to rugby etiquette yet.
