(This is the sort of list that likely changes, in my head, every time I ponder it, but ...) "I Heard It Through The Grapevine", by Marvin Gaye "Stairway To Heaven", by Led Zep "Mama Told Me Not To Come", by Three Dog Night And I think I've changed my mind already ...

Baker Street - Gerry Rafferty
Little Wing - Stevie Ray Vaughn
Black - Pearl Jam
Like the others my mood might influence changing the second and third but Baker Street will always be my all-time favorite song.

Impossible question to answer, but... if I'm in the mood for slow, introspective music (which happens to be at this moment) then I never tire of listening to the following three: River of Tears - Eric Clapton Naked Flame - BBM (Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker, Gary Moore) Where Angels Fear to Tread - Bryan Adams I'll revisit this thread again when my mood changes.

Welcome, funnygirl. That's one of my favorite songs, too. I really do like Linkin Park and there are a few other songs of theirs I like as well.

Gerry Rafferty - "Baker Street" (Puts him in the lead with two nominations!) Alan Price - "Jarrow Song" Dusty Springfield - hard to choose, but I do like "I just fall in love again" Bubbling under: Steeleye Span - "All Around My Hat" This list is subject to change as often as the English weather.

Can musical tastes change that quickly? Not remembering what I put down as my top three earlier, I was going to say: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John Blue Moon - by anybody ...as my top two. Come to find out, that's what I originally said back in Sept '09. I'm glad to know that I'm at least consistent on some things. I'm not sure what I'd put down as #3 now.
