Welcome all to this year’s competition, we have one less tipper from last year, 21. Defending champion rxbigdawg was signed up but missed the bell for this round. A special welcome to new tippers for this competition Kevro03 and Mustaing.
Day one brought the two #3 seeds victories, the opposite of last year where both #3 seeds were upset in the wildcard round. As a group we were 35/42 on day one. Day 2 also brought all lower seeds winning their home games, but only 2 people, ozzz2002 and KrivoyRog, had faith in the Time Tebow led Broncos to top the Steelers.
Blowout of the week was the Giants dominance over the Falcons, while the best game of the week had to be Pittsburgh/Denver game. At first Pittsburgh couldn't do anything right and Tebow and the Bronco's nothing wrong. Big Ben found his mojo in the second half and along with a late fumble recovery by the Steelers defense was able to tie the score at the end of the game. Overtime didn't last long as Tim Tebow connected for another long pass, this one for a touchdown to end the game.
KrivoyRog and ozzz2002 were perfect this week and take an early lead over the rest of the field.

Welcome back rxbigdawg and welcome to mayneeyak, who almost had the Patriots/Broncos score exact, not bad.
Only KrivoyRog and themonarch have thier NFC Champion left, who both have San Francisco, with many of us losing ours with Green Bay, some others with New Orleasns. So far only N-Bomb has lost his AFC Champion.
Saturday had most of us picking New Orleans to win on the road, like last year, and the Saints losing that game, like last year. This year's game had one of the most amazing 4th quarters I have seen in a long time, will go down in history and was a great win for the 49ers. The Patriots made Tebow and the Bronco's look bad, as they walked all over them 45-10. The Texas fought hard but the Ravens defense was too much and Baltimore won the trip to New England. The Giants give us the first upset of this playoff season, as they went into Green Bay and won convincingly 37-20.
The Giants may be the Packers of last year as they barely scraped into the playoffs, having to win their last two weeks just to make it in, but are now making all the plays they need and firing on all cylinders.
KrivoyRog stayed perfect and opens a good sized lead.

Gillyharold and Mustang never had to switch their Super Bowl winner picks and have a chance at 4 bonus points if the Patriots pull it off. Ten tippers scored a bonus point for the New England win in the AFC Conference Championship game. No one scored a bonus point for the Giants winning of the NFC Conference Championship game and the most bonus points which can be garnered for a Giants Super Bowl win is two.
Game one saw a hard fought game, which ended unceremoniously with a missed chip shot field goal. The game was deserving of OT, but not to be outshined by the magical year Tim Tebow had, Golden Boy Tom Brady and his Patriots first got their TD on fourth and 1, then a missed FG by the opponents, which left all watching dumb founded. After the first muffed punt return the writing was on the wall and the outcome seemed inevitable. The second botched punt return, which was a fumble this time and in overtime, sealed the deal, as the Giants defeated the San Francisco 49ers 20-17. Only thing worse than living a nightmare, is having to live it a second time.
KrivoyRog's perfection ended with the Giants win, but his run of 7 straight was impressive.
