Thank you for all your hard work in compiling the tables Wes. As the new leader of the ClassicalMusic/Mensan team, it falls on me to accept this great honour on behalf of the whole team and for Dr Bob who formed the team & brought us all together. He sure can pick 'em!  We're very proud to be the Team of the Year on the best trivia site in the world and hope that all the other teams will give us a good fight if we want to hold on to the title in 2013. I'm sure they will. Congratulations to all the teams who won a virtual trophy, especially the Llamas who made us work for the top spot right to the very end.

Wes: you're amazing for all the hard work you do (not just for this, but for editing and advice and fun text for the challenges and also because you're way smarter than me but still a nicer/more tactful person. I admire you (and no, I'm not sucking up as it's unlikely I'll be writing any quizzes in your categories anytime soon lol).
Merely appreciation for what you (and all the staff here) do.
Flopsy: You're probably right on the "beware" part lol. Your team is formidable and there is no hope for my personal contributions to count, as I've been told I couldn't win even a under-6 watermelon seed-spitting contest (hangs head in shame). Am particularly looking forward to more picture posts from you in 2013 though, as they have all been lovely in the past.
Anyway, "good going" to ALL the teams! Many have made incredible moves up the ladder, but the main thing is that folks have fun and enjoy the company of their team and friendliness between their competitors. I think the Christmas messages between teams showed that spirit.
Not that I don't LOVE my team, but I converse with more folks (in personal messages) from OTHER teams. They are each fabulous in their own ways. Sure, it's nice that our team won for a change, but I wish everyone lots of laughter and love for 2013. If you have THOSE two items, you can get through pretty much EVERYthing : )))
