Looks like 1 dead, 4 hurt in Ohio. I saw a news headline saying a teacher chased the gunman out of the building and police used a police dog to track the guy down...

oh how tragic.

Sadly, 2 more students died fromn their wounds overnight. Cleveland is only about 150 miles from Pittsburgh, a little too close for comfort.

Reports said the shooter was a bullied student who felt like an outsider. In many cartoons and many TV shows bullying in school is shown as very funny. Is this attitude a reflection of a lot of Americans and is it partially responsible for these school shootings?

I think the boy wasn't even a student at that school...

On Cartoon Network, they are airing commercials that say "Stop Bullying."

Sad that another school shooting took place.

Local media is saying that he appeared to target a table where a student who had started dating his former girlfriend was seated with friends.

To me, using bullying as an explanation/reason for things like this is an excuse. What about those who are victims of bullying who don’t later go out and shoot someone?

That said, it’s a tragedy all around when these things happen. I feel for the victims’ families, as well as the family of the shooter.
