Liz and Leonie, it really does feel good. Relief and happiness. I was beginning to wonder if the blasted chest actually existed or not!

Congrats Sue. I have a feeling that I was probably stuck on the same punctuation error for about 4 months (although I'd have to PM you to verify lol) - I think I have a permanent dent on my forehead after that experience lol

Does this mean the puppies all get some fresh, meaty, monster bones to celebrate?

Guess I must not be as smart as the average bear. I've been on the site over 4 years, and I don't have the slightest idea how to go about finding this treasure. I'm just not good at that type of thing. Riddles either..

I've got my Ducky not to far after i joined the site, and wasn't that interested in collecting Badges, but now i realize special that little quacky is, she keeps my other badges company, comfortably ensconced right in the middle of them all.
Now if i can only get that perfect score badge...

For the last two months I've copy/pasted to a word pad in order any clue I see that pops up, even if I have it already. Leading the count of appearances is the clue that informs about the chest only being available at certain time intervals with ___ postings (FitB with 3, 4,5, or 6 or 7). And I haven't seen all the clues in that time period. I may have missed one while posting over here. I'm convinced the critical clues post while we're here at the Forums.

Edit: No sooner post than the FitB answer gets a CN!

Congrats Sue, it took me a few years till I found the treasure, and I was over the moon when I figured it out. All I can say to those that are still looking, that you should paste all clues in numerical order in a separate word document, and then suddenly it will all fall into place, when you have the essential clues.

Now when it come to the riddle I can´t make heads or toes of it, and its driving me crazy, so I just leave it and go back to it every so often, and try again.

George48, you are a lucky duck if you found that treasured ducky so soon, in your FT life. I have been hunting for the little guy for years, and I have promised him that if he does come my way he would have a wonderful and comfy life with my other treasured badges.

Does anyone else find it frustrating when a clue pops up at the top of the page on a question set in the Global Challenge? I've tried to do a quick copy and paste or, failing that, use my browser go back and scroll back up to the page tops. Today I discovered a quick way to go all the way back to the beginning of the GC from the end of the seventh game. This works in IE browsers (but I'm sure there is a same way on other browsers)
Instead of pointing and clicking the "Go Back" button, 'Alt and Left arrow" accomplish the same task. Then, instead of pointing to scroll to the page tops, I held down the page up key. I went through all 21 screens in about a minute (Sad report, I hadn't missed any new clues today).

So, in IE, to go from the end of the GC to the beginning and seeing the tops of each page, it's:
'alt + left' and 'page up'; 'alt + left' and 'page up'; 'alt + left' and 'page up';... seventh 'alt + left' and 'page up'.

If you see a clue in a timed game, either quickly press "Print Screen" and paste the screenshot after you finish the game, or finish the quiz and go back to the page.

I don't see any reasson why you would need to search through every single timed game page in case you missed one - I've seen them all as soon as I've seen the page (or at least I think I have - if I missed one I wouldn't know about it :P).

I am slightly confused and I havent taken anything that should affect my sight but I followed a clue to a few places and low and behold I got to a place where a little animated bird flew off from behind the page and I had no idea what to do or where to go from there, the little bird is long gone - and could someone actually tell me what happened - thanks Cathy

Cathy, just collect the clues and it will all begin to make sense, but by bit. As others have said, you must write them down and keep them and take notes of any "strange" things you see.

Thanks, Starlord. I may have set a record for the longest fruitless search before the gods eventually took pity on me... smile

I couldn't agree with Sue more. Copy/paste clues and take notes of your progress and events.

I was stuck for a long time and posted my frustration on my team board. A teammate told me to just look at my clues and follow the instructions as it was all there. I did and won the badge that night.

Good Luck smile

Tori_2s refinement telling you to copy and paste the clues is a key one. One of the reasons it took me so long to get the Treasure is that I had transcribed a key clue instead of copying and pasting it, and I had an error.... Ha! Copying and pasting is the way to go.

Here's a copy of what I've copied and pasted so far. I'm only missing one or two clues. I've used the "spoiler system" to hide them in case you didn't want to see them.

Edited to remove that mehaul. I know you didn't really post the clues but you have caused a flood of complaints because people thought that you had. sue943

Post Sue943 edit: In the 'spoiler' was a statement that revealing clues is like purchasing a one way ticket to sign out. I meant it as humor. If some were offended, sorry for the tease.

Mehaul the whole point is not to reveal them at all, whether people want to see them or not.
