Thanks Mike, those April shower skies really make the shots dramatic.

More dark clouds but this time it didn't hail or rain, this is on the North Downs near Warlingham

I only took 516 photos in Ireland. I am still sorting them out but thought that I would post one while I get on with looking at them and trying to decide if reflection from the coach window can be removed from some of them - most were taken from the moving vehicle.

Copago: we have lots of pelicans here, but I can honestly say I've never seen ours fly "in formation" (like geese). Nor the ones in Mexico/Caribbean either. That's pretty cool.

Ren: lovely am's

Sue: might want to consult Flopsy. She's a photoshop expert extraordinaire : ) The one you posted is very nice though!!

Chavs: that's one GLORIOUS picture. Absolutely LOVE the dewdrops (careful with those though, sometimes I can see myself in the ones I've taken - very unnerving for viewers no doubt LOL) That sort of photo opportunity is few and far between, so congrats on a job very well done : )))

Gee, Jakeroo, thanks!

And yes, Sue, feel free to upload any photos you want to Photobucket and I'll see if I can do anything. Reflections are probably not removable but the dull glaze you get from glass might be open to correction. Email one to me as a trial if you want. smile

PhotoBucket is tomorrow, I am knackered! I have cropped out some of the glare where it is on an edge of the photo.

Sue, that is so beautiful! Beautiful scenery and a very beautiful shot.

Jakeroo, thank you very much, I was trying (but failed) to capture the delicate pink colour in the oxalis flower and it happened to be one of those showery days and some raindrops still hanging around.... it's a purely lucky click! I have no idea where that drop came from, must have snuck in there at the last minute, so I got a nice surprise when I uploaded.

And thanks for the tip, lol! I will dress well for future camera shoots just in case. wink

I can't imagine! But they say there's someone for everyone so maybe one of us will find his partner. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

I've had varying results from moving vehicles, but besides some new cameras appearing to freeze motorway shots at 70 mph (not mine though) I've found certain angles and distances from the window seem to work the best and as well as some lovely views I'd never have had otherwise from the Eurostar in Belgium in 1998 which were thoroughly ruined by the conditions I've had some good ones recently by experimenting.

These are a row of brand new houses by the North Downs in Whyteleafe.

Blarney Castle, and no, I didn't go and kiss the stone, it was about 100 steps to get to the stone, and 100 to get back down!

There seems to be a special type of light in Ireland. It is mose noticeable. And the green is just so -well-green!

I have been to bed since posting the last one so it is a different day so there!

A fishing village, very pretty. I took this photo as soon as we arrived which was just as well as by the time we finished visiting the place where the coach stopped another coach had parked right in front of these houses so I would have missed this one.

About 30 seconds after I took this this morning we had a massive hail storm.

I love the bridge, David! It's just nice.

Christin, this reminds me of my parents place on the Kenai peninsula. My Dad made chairs out of Birch and Willow for every kid he knew! smile My step MoM had a great greenhouse...Just makes me think. Thank you. smile

Flopsy: Well I meant it as a compliment (and well deserved) so you're welcome : )

Chavs: Couldn't help but giggle at your statement. It's normally far too cold here to go about in few if any clothes. Quite frankly I was more worried about folks being scared off from my wrinkles (but come to think, I guess I have some in many regions LOL). Another BEAUTIFUL photo by the way!

Christinap: Well, despite whether hail comes about in the end, the often surreal contrast of a stormy sky usually makes for a lovely picture. In this case it certainly did.

Satguru: love your last one posted! It's like a painting : )
