There seems to be a special type of light in Ireland. It is mose noticeable. And the green is just so -well-green!

Ireland looks lovely!

Once again, Precious insists that she would never, ever, do anything naughty...like knock those books off the shelf...Never!

I have been to bed since posting the last one so it is a different day so there!

A fishing village, very pretty. I took this photo as soon as we arrived which was just as well as by the time we finished visiting the place where the coach stopped another coach had parked right in front of these houses so I would have missed this one.

About 30 seconds after I took this this morning we had a massive hail storm.

I love the bridge, David! It's just nice.

Christin, this reminds me of my parents place on the Kenai peninsula. My Dad made chairs out of Birch and Willow for every kid he knew! smile My step MoM had a great greenhouse...Just makes me think. Thank you. smile

Flopsy: Well I meant it as a compliment (and well deserved) so you're welcome : )

Chavs: Couldn't help but giggle at your statement. It's normally far too cold here to go about in few if any clothes. Quite frankly I was more worried about folks being scared off from my wrinkles (but come to think, I guess I have some in many regions LOL). Another BEAUTIFUL photo by the way!

Christinap: Well, despite whether hail comes about in the end, the often surreal contrast of a stormy sky usually makes for a lovely picture. In this case it certainly did.

Satguru: love your last one posted! It's like a painting : )

Here is just one piece of Waterford crystal. The factory in Ireland now really only makes one off pieces or special editions and just a few other items, the rest is made in Eastern Europe under their label.

I have seen a piece which is to be given to the Queen for her Julilee, but it isn't this one.

I love Waterford crystal. I have a few pieces that are quite old, but it is very expensive to buy old Waterford now.

Thanks everyone. I stopped to make sure I'd taken photos in that map square and wandered around to look for the scenery and turned a corner and that view hit me. Having taken nothing new since Monday here's one from the archives, Ben Nevis in 1969. I had some in focus but not of such a major landmark.

I've been complaining for a while that I don't like my computer table and my husband surprised me with this. Cherry wood top, steam bend surround wrapped with raw hide, and steam bent legs. He made a mistake because I told him now I new two end tables with attached lamps. I love it. (We built our log home 10 years ago just the two of us and this goes in so nicely.

No way he also cooks! smile He is in the middle of building a wood strap canoe right now. I find it fascinating that he can read a how-to book and just build.

I would have loved to have seen Susie's face when that bone was produced in front of her. smile

All these wonderful cloud pictures! I had to try taking one too. This was the 18th April, I think - a blue sky day, in the early evening, when suddenly some ominous rainclouds approached on the horizon.

Spanishliz, your last two photos made me laugh so much! Precious really does look as if there's mischief afoot in the first, and the second is almost a scene from a Hitchcock movie! It should win an award. Brilliant.

Jake, thanks for your comments, and, lol, I think we shouldn't feel ashamed of our nekkid photography. As long as we're wearing sensible footwear, such as sandals and socks, or wellie boots, to heck with what society thinks, that's my philosophy. Where's the self-portrait thread? wink

Tori, her face lit up and she just grabbed it and refused to be separated from it. It went, and still goes, everywhere with her. She's getting my moneys worth out of it for sure.

Chavs - great cloud picture. One thing about the weather we've been having is the wonderful photo opportunities it is giving.

Sadly, Chavs we are not permitted to post pictures of recognisable people, so no portrait thread, sorry!

Sue, I love that last photograph, and have been browsing through your collection on PB ... Such a shame we missed each other, as I will be in Dublin in a couple of weeks.

I can't remember, Alex. No one ever told me off for it. Hmmmm. I really don't know!

I think the point is that we don't want to accidentally post a photo without someone's permission. Also the rules say photos must be ones we take ourselves, with the camera pointing away from us smile Avatars don't come into it at all, I don't think - ren obviously has her own permission to use a photo of herself.
