I accepted a challenge the other day.Actually I had written the quiz and then came back to see if the challenge was still available. It was.

I have a minor problem though. I forgot what the challenge was and do not how to find it.

HELP!

If you had, your name would've been added to the Accepted Challenges list.

There's no way for us to know what title you were looking at-- it's either in the list or it's been claimed, in which case there's not much we can do because you didn't accept it.

I clicked the "I'll claim it." Was there something else I was supposed to do? I would not want to make the same mistake again. I looked through the list and none of the challenges looked familiar.

Maybe I can figure out a way to use the quiz. I wrote it some time ago. I decided it needed some more work. Then I forgot about it.

Once you click 'I'll Claim It' you need to go through the motions of making the template and selecting the category. If this was not done, the template wasn't created and the quiz wasn't claimed.

Your username has no quizzes attached to its history so I'm not sure it went through.

You can still use the quiz you have written - just set up a template, create your own title to suit, and enter what you planned to put in the challenge quiz.

Thank you for that information looney. I figured I would be able to try that but was not positive how to go about the process exactly. I think i will go over all the helpful advice/quizzes once more as it has been a while since i looked at those helpful tools.

Maybe the quiz you had originally thought you claimed was since claimed by someone else and that is why you don't see it there to nudge your memory of which one it was.
If it was the location of the challenge list itself you can't find, they are located in the Regular challenges under the Topaz Hall, The Authors' Challenge. I'd link you to it but since I completed it, the list page is no longer available for me to get to.

I am pretty sure that is what happened. Then again, I am getting older and I forget stuff easily. I DO know I wrote a quiz though!

It may be easier to access it from your Author Central page at http://www.funtrivia.com/author.cfm

It's under 'Author Challenges' on the left bar.

Thanks Kyle. I have added that page to my favorites menu.

Where are these pages coming from? Yesterday there was the 'ranking order of difficulty associated with quizzes' page and this Authors Central page. Is there a FT site map that shows all page titles available (that are accessible to members of course)?

On the homepage if you click the 'Create a Quiz' button it takes you to the Author Central page.

There is no site map I believe-- there'd be a lot to include.

An index page with page name, brief description and a link would satisfy so many wonderings on the site and make giving directions easier. In early web days you could get the map yourself by just leaving the URL with a open / ending. You need a password for that to work now I think.
