Did somebody say the the score was higher than 900 and it has come down? I sure would have had a heart attack!

I was a little late getting here because I decided to hijack a beer truck. I am sure glad I did since I will be here for an extended time having joined this Geography (non)Geniuses Party. Folks coming along next month are going to pay! With the days, months, years I will be here, I will be building a hotel, restaurants, bars, and maybe a casino. I can make a few bucks and they can rest comfortablably as opposed to using "portaloos."

Y'all send me some post cards so I will know what I am missing!

Wes?
Help?

I have a team member who missed a section by three quizzes yesterday, and when she went back today, to play them again, they are still X'd. Will she ever be able to do them? If there is a waiting time, how long is it?

Thanks smile

Hmm there should be a link next to the quiz title saying "retake quiz" or something like that?

Glad the lowering has helped many--I think it will have to be lowered further if I am to pass this block! Still trying. I am hopeless at this quiz. smile

I've just sent her a note, asking her if she sees that.

Here is what she sent me --

"I am not a geography whiz by any means soooo I tried the great race yesterday and missed by 3 quizes. Today when I went to retake them the red x's stayed. Is there no way I can proceed? dee"

Her ID is dee929

O.K. --

It seems she had seen the "retake quiz", and has done so.

Everything is working fine smile
Sorry for the false alarm.

Strike that ... see later post

Just for the reference, you have to wait 24 hours before retaking a quiz (at least you had to for "Mission Impossible", so I assume it is the same for the race). That might have been the problem. She said she went to retake them the following day - if she played them at, say 8pm and then tried to retake them at 7pm the following day, it wouldn't have let her.

Edit reason: typo with the italics coding.

Thanks, Adam.

I did ask her that, but didn't get a clear answer. I think she was just anxious to see what's next, and became a bit impatient LOL

Since the score got lowered once, I peek in to the waiting area hoping it may happen again(I am also checking on my construction). I fear that is not to be. I shall grow old and weary here. Oh well, at least the new "facilities" are complete. I don't care for the portable type.

Terry --

Sorry for the back and forth.
It seems that it is *not* working properly. Here is what she says --

"I have now retaken three quizes and the red x's haven't gone away. I know they are after 24 hours because now if you click on retake test it tells you to the minute how long you have to wait."

Again, her ID is dee929

I assume she did, but just to check, did she score more than five correct on all of them?

I'm right next door in Alabama. I'll bring fresh strawberries, just picked this morning right before I joined the queue.

Shuehorn: That sounds like a plan
Dagny: Bring the berries on!

One question...Since we are geographically challenged, who will learn us?

Terry: wasn't expecting the requirement change at all and thought it a most generous one so thanks! (almost didn't make it by with that either lol).

Okay, since I get to attempt to move on in another 9 or so hours, am fed-exing all the steaks, ribs and briquets I'd purchased for the bar and grill to YOU ga_jam. You and the ladies can have several tail-gate parties until you get that casino built LOL

The very first day, I was one of the first to reach the 1-4 part... But got 918 points. Dang it! I had to wait until today to finally get 1100 points. I would be so far ahead right now... ;-). Lol

But seriously, this is an awesome game and I will be sad when I have finished. :-(

Adam- another silly question but one that hooked me up before I learnt- did she click one the 'retake quiz' link or the quiz title link? If you click on the quiz title it doesn't always give you the credit, you have to click retake.

That is appreciated Jakeroo. Between the steaks, beer and all this sitting, I will weigh 931 at the end of June! Maybe then I can disguise myself as a VW Beetle and will be able to sneak by the ticket attendant.
