Just wanted to pop in and say thanks to all the people involved in putting this together. I'm really enjoying it. It forces people out of their comfort zones(depending on how badly they want those new badges)which is always a good thing. Broadening my horizons whether I wanted to or not. The things we'll do for badges.

I'm horrible at geo LOL! I'm stuck at Leg 1 - 4 until tomorrow, but I just wanted to say

The "great" quiz race is a seriously modest title for this undertaking/creation, in my estimation.

Amen to all of the comments so far, and I too am stuck at the same place everyone else is. Luckily it is only 18 minutes til I get another stab at it! Thanks Kyle, Wes and Terry and all of the Race authors. What a great way to give these quizzes added exposure. Loving this!

Quite honestly, I don't know what all this fuss is about... In fact I'm somewhat peeved! I mean how am I expected to do this quiz as well? There are only 24 hours in a day and one needs to work, sleep and eat AND try to work through all the other lovely challenges in this site... It's just not fair and I do wish that the rest of you wouldn't encourage Terry, Wes and Kyle to keep coming up with these additional attractions!!

Shame on you all...

I missed the start yesteday my phone line went dead, so it's catch up today.

As I feared, stuck for another day at 1-4... Geography, the bane of my existence!

I must admit, my heart sank when I started - not another Gold Member "Geography" Challenge to add to the "World" and "Bus Ride" ones! But I'm sure there will be more variety later.

Don't worry, it closely follows the Amazing author race, so you'll visit plenty of other categories.

Why did it have to be the World Quiz (my worst game)? Couldn't I have gotten to Level 2 at least?

Thank you to those involved in putting the race together. It's actually a lot of fun. I look forward to getting past this roadblock.

Since I'm so awful at the World Geo game, it's quite possible I will be stuck at 1-4 forever. May as well make the best of a bad situation. Sooo, I'm building a permanent bar and grill. May need to come to a financial agreement with surdoux regarding his portaloo until proper permits come through, just not sure I want to shake on the deal (giggles).

It's my worst category as well,so i had to wait til next day, fortunately next day i posted my best ever score in that category, maybe it bodes well for me...

Still loving the race, but one question. Are all pit stops going to be 24 hours? Could some be 12 or even fewer?
