Hooray smilee Sue told us all to take heart and just like her, when I passed the Geography, it was with flying colors at 1132. That's compared to well under 800 four days in a row. Your day will come, just a matter of getting a string of questions that you know--or almost know.

Leaving a couple of quarts of refreshing strawberries under the tree for you. Have been advised to take my book though.

That's what it may have sounded like, but I am not referring to the race. We don't release unfinished stuff - I was just teasing that there may be more interesting things coming in the future.

Is that a threat or a primise? wink Only kidding, love the possibility of interesting things!

I am curious... If there is no way for me to know what gets the fish and frog, does that mean that some people might finish the race without winning them? If you miss them during the race, does that mean you can never ever ever ever win the badgelets? :-(. Or are they eventually unavoidable to win?

I would assume they are ultimately winnable no matter what... Doesn't seem entirely fair otherwise.

If you complete the race you will have won one, and only one, of them.

No-- it just means that you'll need to find out what happens. If you knew how to get them, you'd have seen the plan for the course. There's no need to overthink it.

Stuck until tomorrow's WAI. Like on Friday with World. I had already played my round today. Sigh.

I'm trying to unjinx you. Since nothing ever goes my way, I wish you to fail. Therefore, what I do not wish will occur. So you will succeed. So I guess I just gave you extra luck by jinxing you. ;-)

It's the first race I've ever been in when I have to sit on my bum and twiddle my thumbs for 2 days! But great fun!

You obviously haven't been to the Iditarod then. Or the televised "Amazing Race". There are several long-distance races across the world where racers are forced to take stops because there have been candidates who hurt or killed themselves by trying the whole thing without food or sleep.

I'm going to do the Olympics like that, on my bum, thumbs twiddling on the remote. For weeks!

And the coroner ruled it "death by trivia"? I don't think so, Wes. smile

I didn't talk about TRIVIA races smile (Read up on the Iditarod - the choice of locations and times to take the mandatory stops is a pretty big part of race strategy there)

Death by trivia would however be something I wouldn't mind written on my final exit documentation once I'm due to receive it. I'm sure it's more pleasant than most other alternatives.

Wait... WE'RE SUPPOSED TO EAT DURING THE PIT STOPS? I thought we were supposed to stare blankly at the screen for 48 hours. Oops
