I created a new team header. When I uploaded it, it showed 2 pictures of the old header. So I uploaded it 3 more times thinking I had done something wrong with the same result. Now my old header has been approved. How do I upload the new one for approval. I have to be missing something.

Maybe if I continue to upload the old header over and over it will magically actually take the file which I have selected?

Maybe if I continue to upload the old header over and over it will magically actually take the file which I have selected? I would say from experience (not with this, but with very similar things), that that just makes things worse. Maybe if you actually were patient or possibly even uploaded the header and left the computer for a couple of minutes to read a book or make some coffee or something then it would work. It might not work but I doubt overloading the system will solve anything.

It doesn't d/l. As, soon as I click it goes to the next page with a the old header and what is supposed to be the new header but is actually the same one. It has nothing to do with my patience.

I assume d/l means download. Well okay, you don't have to wait (I never said you did, I said it could help), but will uploading the same thing over and over again help?

It has nothing to do with approval. The old header gets approved every time. The issue is that the new header does not upload. The old header is what shows up as the one I am trying to get approve. It also shows up as the old header. And yes it is actually a little smaller than the max allowed.

It is the old header that gets approved. The new header does not load. Of course the old header will be approved. The new header does not upload I am using Win 7. I clean my caches at the very least once a day.

It is the old header that gets approved. No. The old header does not get approved. It has been approved, but it doesn't get approved when you click "upload". Headers don't get approved automatically, a person (Terry) has to look at them, see if they are suitable and approve/disapprove them. Edit reason: bad grammar

It is the old header that gets approved. The new header does not load. Of course the old header will be approved. The header on your team page has changed three or four times this week, back and forth between a banner and a flag. On the other hand, your team image (on the far RH side) has not changed from the flag. These two images have a separate link for changes: Team header: http://www.funtrivia.com/teamheader_upload.cfmTeam image: http://www.funtrivia.com/team_upload.cfmAt the moment they are again different - your team page has the banner as the header and the flag as the team image. Which one is the "old header"?

The old header gets re-approved every time because it is what is what shows as being uploaded.

The banner is the header. I noticed the flag becoming the header as well. That seems to happen when the "new" header is waiting approval, the flag shows up as both. My new header which is another banner never uploads. I am using the correct place for supposedly uploading the new header. It just never uploads. I get a page showing current header with the banner shown and new header which is also the same banner. I am not getting 2 different headers when it supposedly uploads. I get the old banner in both current and new header positions.

The old header gets re-approved every time because it is what is what shows as being uploaded. If that was true then that means that Terry was sitting at his computer, looking at headers and uploading them immediately every single time you uploaded a header. In other words, the old header might be being uploaded, or something else might have gone wrong, but the old header doesn't get re-approved because approving is NOT done automatically.

i was going to suggest that it could be a browser issue, but looks like you sorted that out. have similar problems with uploads at work, where Firefox does not seem to understand the buttons correctly & bypasses the actual upload, going to the next screen.
