Is that near where you live? Is that a flooded plain or are those trees (what kind are they?) always surrounded by water? And by the way, great picture!

spanishliz, you're so lucky to be allowed to take photos indoors in places like that. We aren't any more, and that is a lovely shot of the staircase. I asked permission first, and was asked to keep flash to a minimum. All the photos I took were with available light, so they were happy with that.

Thanks for the sunset comments Tori - yes, it's right by my house. The trees are gum trees and the water is just leftovers from floods earlier this year - it's slowly going down but with our winter just starting it'll hang around til next summer probably. Here's a bale of wool all pressed up and ready to truck out.

Impressive sunset there. This is one of apparently unlimited typical English village centres, Potton in Bedfordshire

I cannot remember what all the stencils mean, but does ' M PCS' mean 'Merino Pieces'?

yep, that's the one. The longer number with the Australian map under it is the wool classer's stencil so they know who to blame And Landmark is just the agent who we sell through.

Sue - is Jersey doing much for the Jubilee, looks like you're ready for it.
Fairly massive I should think. There is a street party outside my house on Tuesday hence feeling the need to put up some bunting, making an effort. There are Jubilee Arches over some roads, street parties, concerts, old motor cavalcade and much more. I will be a a Jubilee Fayre all next weekend helping out. We don't get our royal visitors until next month then we are having horseface and her old man gracing our shores, sorry, I ought to have said Prince Charles and Camilla.

Copago, your sunset photo is amazing. Love that fox, Christina! There seems to be a plan going on inside its head. Fantastic Mr Fox style. Hope everyone's Jubilee celebrations are going well. What a pity about the rain today! The flotilla was beautiful nonetheless, I thought. Rain here too:

Chavs: I have one word for you and it's "WOW"
Christina: love the columbine, the fox and the otter.
Jane: That's a pretty cake - looks like it tastes/tasted good too!
