Although I have a ton of pictures of Teddy, that's not really why I thought of this theme. Stuffed animals are in our lives from birth, and I think that they can make an excellent theme to capture on your cameras. Although it does say "stuffed", I think that any toy animals will fit the bill here.

Enjoy!

I can't believe Leo didn't post another TeddyOnAdventure to start off, but Christina? With a "merry-go-round" to boot, yours deserves a huge "awwwwwwwwwwww" : )))

Thanks Jakeroo. They were a kiddies attraction at a show we went to last summer and were so cute I just had to take the photo. Must have known I'd need it for something later on!

So cute!

I got this little pig as a toy for Precious, but she has shown no interest, so he'll be one of the many wee animals that sit on tables and such around my home.

It's about as far away from Christmas as it can get right now, but here's a picture of Socrates and Plato, the penguins my mum got for my brother and me one Christmas.

Ren: I'm so glad his name is Boxer and not Rocky lol

SpanishLiz: that's about the cutest little pig I've ever seen. Our cat never played with any toys we brought home for her either. Her favourite was those cloth covered pony tail thingies because they go a long way when batted at on the laminate floors (oh - and Cheerios, which went even further).

Alexx: Clever names! btw, are you and your brother twins?

Ed: you know, those two really DO look like they're concentrating on computer stuff!

Jane: ohhhhhhhhh, the humanity! lol

Graduation?? Oh my, how exciting for you! Congatulations (in advance)!!!
(and cool on the twins part - what made me ask the question is that your mom bought identical gifts for you both lol)

Alexx: I'll bet you are, and well deserved.

Chavs: Okay that's WAY too adorable. Would also have been perfect for the "Picture My Book" thread - you are just too clever!!

Sorry for not posting a pic. I got rid of my multitudes of stuffed animals long ago (except for an Eeyore that was handmade by my Great Auntie - with a removable tail and everything! - but he's in a cedar trunk in my mother's basement and so probably not retrievable for quite some time).

That looks very much like my vast "furry friends" collection, Gees63, who now all sit nicely on top of my wardrobes. My twin nieces used to have great fun playing "school" with them smile

This little bear is a supporter of England, and watches the matches whenever they're on television laugh

I have several soft toys, some of which were sent to me by FunTrivia members. This one really has great sentimental value. It was sent to me by Damnsuicidalroos when I had my stroke in 2005 together with an arrangement of beautiful flowers. His message was that the teddy was from his daughter, Natasha, as when she isn't feeling well a cuddle of her teddy makes her feel better. Roos, as many of you will know, very sadly died of cancer several years ago. I look at this teddy and feel the loss of this superb guy.

Me too Sara. Do you remember the time he made his local news by leaping over a fence to put out a fire in a neighbouring property? Then the tale of trying to sell some worn out trainers on ebay, so funny. A wonderful person.

I am sure the monkey is drinking a toast to such a lovely thread, which has to be closed soon, so that we can start a new one called simply 'On Foot'.
Thanks again to all.

As we have had three weeks, and it is still open, here's my third little gang. The dog is known as Winston's Dog, because he was a present to Win from his doggie friend Fergus. Ozzie Ostrich and Lucy Ladybird are meant to be toys for Precious, but she ignores them, so they all sit on a little table with the wooden decoy duck that was carved by my brother-in-law's father. They make me smile smile

I took a photo of the ubiquitous mounted stag's head in the local pub (surely every town has a pub with a stag's head in it?) but I can't bring myself to post it. It looks so sad and cruel in isolation, especially beside all these feelgood teddies!
