This gorgeous little thing is Boomer, a ten week old Rhodesian Ridgeback who managed to sleep through all the action. (nearly all day every day lol)

I havn't heard about anything being planned, but at her age perhaps they have unpublished plans in place but don't want to let anyone know them yet in case she doesn't make it. Most of the Jubilee stuff was only announced last year. I would think something would be done to mark the event.

You're right, most of the jubilee stuff was only announced last year but had been planned for at least 2 years (the concert etc) so I'm sure they'll let us underlings know in time to celebrate if they have plans.

Visit from a flock of baby starlings this morning

I have a few from a local event but they all have a lot of people in them, too many to blank out all the recognisable faces. Perhaps others have the same problem. I think the same will happen with the torch relay photos I intend to take when it comes through Rayleigh.

I did show some bunting, and have a few more of it as I passed through the villages.
I was always fascinated by flyovers as a child, especially so when they built two three deckers near me in the 70s. This is the A1 going over the local road in Biggleswade.
