Dot: beautiful water/rock fall. Would love to see more of it as well.

Copago: LOL! That pic screams out (in muted whisper of course)... "Bliss"!

I was playing golf in northeast Nebraska. It was a hilly, wooded course next to a lake. On one tee box I happened to look back and saw these wild turkeys crossing the adjacent green. I'd never seen one before so it was a nice experience.

I've heard of birdies, eagles and albatrosses in golf but never "turkeys".

Jubilee pictures? In the village of Malham in the Pennines they had a safari including dolphins in the River Aire (which was less than 6 inches deep at this point despite all the rain) [I was just passing through - a one night stop]

Very colorful, Christi.

Wild turkeys aren't that big, actually. These were probably all female as they were all under 3 feet long. Males are bigger at 4 feet long or longer.

deputygary Love those cattle, wouldn't want to get too close to those horns though.

The new rose bed I planted last year is really coming into full flower now. These are all David Austin roses. He specialises in ones that look like old roses, and have wondeful scent, but the disease resistance and repeat flowering of modern roses.

Strikes me that Buster is pretty easy to catch on camera. I never saw him awake yet!

Here are some buffalo in the same pasture as the longhorns. The little one wasn't getting ready to charge. He was just cavorting.

I know that technically they are bison but around here we call them buffalo.

Cavorting is such a fun word : ) Nice photo dg

Since we were talking turkey a few days ago, here's one of a male strutting his stuff (to no avail, apparently, since the female appears totally disinterested - or maybe she's just playing "hard to get"? lol):

Nice looking garden dot, a few more of it perhaps?

The pigeon did recover, saw it yesterday and it looked almost better! This is not more of my garden but one we visited recently in north Wales.

Beautiful roses! Buster's a doll smile Great animal and bird pics!

I brought Precious a treat the other day. I think it is safe to say that Precious likes catnip!

Thanks Christina. I am quite jealous of your toucan!
Liz, another hilarious Precious pic. What a character! I think "The Adventures of Precious and Buster" would make a great coffee table book.

All the rain last week made everything seem dull but then I looked at the ground and found the destruction had caused a sort of rainbow.

Great picture Chavs. You have a good eye. I am really enjoying all the pics on here.

Here is a sunset at Lake Lewis and Clark which sits along the South Dakota-Nebraska border.

I haven't had a chance to go anywhere recently but just found another from my cruise in 1974, this was the P&O Uganda in the Bay of Biscay, and have had a couple of people on Flickr find them and were on it with me as well.
