That looks very much like my vast "furry friends" collection, Gees63, who now all sit nicely on top of my wardrobes. My twin nieces used to have great fun playing "school" with them This little bear is a supporter of England, and watches the matches whenever they're on television

I have several soft toys, some of which were sent to me by FunTrivia members. This one really has great sentimental value. It was sent to me by Damnsuicidalroos when I had my stroke in 2005 together with an arrangement of beautiful flowers. His message was that the teddy was from his daughter, Natasha, as when she isn't feeling well a cuddle of her teddy makes her feel better. Roos, as many of you will know, very sadly died of cancer several years ago. I look at this teddy and feel the loss of this superb guy.

Me too Sara. Do you remember the time he made his local news by leaping over a fence to put out a fire in a neighbouring property? Then the tale of trying to sell some worn out trainers on ebay, so funny. A wonderful person.

I am sure the monkey is drinking a toast to such a lovely thread, which has to be closed soon, so that we can start a new one called simply 'On Foot'. Thanks again to all.

As we have had three weeks, and it is still open, here's my third little gang. The dog is known as Winston's Dog, because he was a present to Win from his doggie friend Fergus. Ozzie Ostrich and Lucy Ladybird are meant to be toys for Precious, but she ignores them, so they all sit on a little table with the wooden decoy duck that was carved by my brother-in-law's father. They make me smile

I took a photo of the ubiquitous mounted stag's head in the local pub (surely every town has a pub with a stag's head in it?) but I can't bring myself to post it. It looks so sad and cruel in isolation, especially beside all these feelgood teddies!
