I have been playing FT for quite a while now and I really enjoy this site, so I started wondering...where did it come from? How long has it been around? It's a really interesting concept with absolutely no rivals.

Does anyone have the story?

Probably easiest to read about it on Wiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FunTrivia

I have been here since 1999 just after the forums were started in this format.

Also, see this thread over in the Feedback forum, posted by Terry a few years ago:

He started FunTrivia in 1994.

You might just as well speculate on who/what invented the Universe! (giggles)

The Wikki link was informative (sort of), but the second link (to the forum) was even better (part of the reason, though, has to do with the fact that I'm somewhat familiar with the site after being on it for a few years).

That's a prime example of why I only use Wikipedia as supplemental material in addition to other sites (I've found Wikki only says so much, and a more accurate depiction comes from a combination of that and other sources).
